  Fall vacation

  We stayed at this Holiday Inn Express and were very impressed at how modern and new the facility was. Walking down the hall way to our room, everything smelled like it was brand new. The check in desk clerk was friendly and we were able to go right up to our room. The room itself was huge, with small foyer, small refrigerator and microwave and Keurig coffee maker with regular, decaf and teas. The bathroom was also large with tub/shower and lit vanity. There was a bench for the luggage and a computer desk, and also a reading chair in the corner, as well as 2 queen beds. Again, everything was super clean. Seeing as we travelled during the pandemic, the hotel had some guidelines in effect. Housekeeping only came after 3 days. If you needed more towels, etc, you could contact the front desk. The tv remote was sealed in plastic wrap, so you knew it was cleaned. The complimentary breakfast was items that were individually sealed, such as mini-cereal cups, oatmeal, breakfast bars, pre-wrapped pancakes that you could microwave, and wrapped breakfast sandwiches that you would microwave. Everything available could be taken up to your room if you were not comfortable eating in the dining area. As for location, you are in the same parking lot as the Outlets of Gettyburg, Friday's restaurant and literally minutes away from the Gettysburg Battleground National Park. It was an excellent get-away and there was plenty to see and do here. We would definitely recommend this location, and are looking forward to returning in the future.

  Clean, quiet place to stay

  We stayed 2 nights while touring Gettysburg. The hotel was very clean and modern. My husband used the gym while we were there. Due to Covid, breakfast is grab & go but still available and rooms are only cleaned once every 3 days. No hair dryers in room due to Covid and you must borrow from front desk. Only hiccup is that twice I stopped by desk and it was not manned. I waited and then finally returned to room and called front desk. Perhaps it would help to have a bell at front desk? Easy access to highway but quiet at same time. Tucked away behind the outlet mall.

  Wonderful one-night stay, have no complaints at all

  August 2020 Very clean hotel and our room was extremely spacious with a large shower and plenty of desk space and storage.  Excellent sleep quality, really comfortable king bed, not too firm or too soft. I didn't try any amenities and don't even recall if a breakfast was available during Covid restrictions, but it was a great one-night stay.

  Easy access, clean, convenient

  Decided to stop at Gettysburg and looking for a Holiday Inn to use our points. Welcoming staff and everyone was social distancing. Room was clean. Hotel is right by the outlets and not far from Gettysburg. We'll definitely need to do at least 2 nights when doing the tour. Only "knock" would have been no fresh fruit in the breakfast area but I guess that's to be expected.

  Soccer team visit

  It was a great 3 night stay. Its the first time at a hotel for me since Covid. No housekeeping for 3 days but they told us if we need anything to fill out a slip and let them know when we would be out of the room & they would take care of us. Room was comfortable.. especially beds. There was a pool ... I saw it and you could sign up to use it for 30 min at a time. Breakfast? Considering we are still masked up.. the breakfast was well done. There was yogurt,milk and juice (individual containers) bagels/mini pancakes/muffins/jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches (again individually wrapped) but easy to heat up. Toaster still there, cereal, oatmeal ... but biscuits and gravy & egg/cheese omelets made my morning. Oh & warm cinnamon rolls!! The first morning there.. we caught the end of breakfast & staff was awesome enough to ask if we needed anything else before they shut it down. Each time we were coming and going staff greeted you with a smile, nod or a friendly hello. If we are back in the area we will stay here again for sure. Very convenient to outlet... but you still need to drive to it.
