  Clean and Comfortable

  We had a king bedroom on 2nd floor. We stayed here when the hotel was very new, three years ago and liked it. We came back last weekend. The hotel looks brand new still. Extremely clean, beds very comfortable. Even shower looked brand new. The breakfast food was even really good. You cannot say that about all chain hotels, I do not think. Hotel was very busy due to a large wedding party, I think. Whoever is managing this hotel is doing a wonderful job. We were very impressed.

  Very nice place

  I get to Galesburg a couple of times a year and this is always where I stay. They used to be and a location across the parking lot but built this new one 3 or 4 years ago. It is extremely clean extremely comfortable and reasonably priced. I will be honest I am a Hilton honors member so I always stay at Hilton properties if they are nearby Galesburg does not have one so I choose to stay here and I'm never disappointed at all.

  road trip

  nice place. first time staying here. the place was clean. the staff was friendly & the breakfast good.would stay here again and recommend to anyone passing thru. very close to interstate. within walking distance to food & and stores.

  Nice, clean, pet-friendly hotel in Galesburg!

  We stayed here for one night to visit family friends while on a longer road trip. This is a nice, clean, new hotel. Very pet-friendly. I highly recommend it. Our room was nice and it was clear that the hotel is taking extra measures to maintain health and cleanliness standards during the pandemic. Our only complaint was that a number of guests were not wearing masks. If masks are required at the hotel and in Illinois, this should be enforced, especially at the reception desk and in the elevators. We had to choose between getting on an elevator with individuals who weren't wearing a mask or waiting until the next elevator.

  Nice place to stay

  The hotel is just off Interstate 74 at Main Street. I was there in 2017 and wrote a review then. This time, I want to focus on the Corona protocols. There is a barrier in the lobby to create separation from the front desk staff. There is a supply of pens marked "sanitized" to use for signing the registration form, and a cup for the used pens. Like other hotels since Corona, there is no pen and pad in the room. There is a swimming pool. The room has a Keurig coffee maker. There is also a large coffeemaker near the front desk. It's not clear how often they sanitize the dispenser lever. Many hotels have done away with small plastic bottles of shampoo, etc., in favor of large, refillable bottles. This hotel has done that. How much "extra" disinfecting they do to these between guests is unclear. They are not currently doing a breakfast buffet. Instead, the front desk provides a menu (limited offerings each day), and you check what you want and the time you want it. There is a person working in the kitchen who puts the breakfast in a Styrofoam carton with the room number written on top, and sets it on a counter for pick up. The dining area is open for use, or you can take it to your room. The hotel is well maintained, quiet, and conveniently located. It's my go-to place to stay when in Galesburg.
