  Nice clean and new

  We chose this hotel because of their pet policy. This was the second time I have traveled with my dog since I got her and found the La Quinta policy to be very reasonable. Normally when staying in Northlake, we would stay at Home2Suites by Hilton just across the street. We checked in on Sunday and found our room very pleasant looking. The bed was super comfortable. This was a vacation trip, so we were in no hurry to leave Monday morning. Maid service came by before we left, and we told her that we would be in the room for about another 30 - 45 minutes. When we left, we stopped by the front desk and told them we were leaving, and that maid service could service our room. The same thing happened again on Tuesday, but we did not say anything at the front desk. When we returned that evening, we found the room had not been serviced. Bed was unmade, dirty towels still on bathroom floor, coffee service not replenished. We went to the front desk and were given two coffee pods and some clean towels. Wednesday, my wife went shopping with her sister and I stayed in the room. Maid service came by and I told her to come in and service the room. She did and after she left, I noticed that she did not replenish the coffee and had left the empty Kleenex box sitting on the edge of the sink. I had to go down the hall to the next room she was servicing to get coffee supplies and another box of Kleenex. Thursday was the same. But this time, we saw the staff in the hall and told her we would be gone for the day and she could service the room. When we returned, the bed had been made and clean towels, but no coffee again. Another thing I noticed was there was a small piece of paper on the floor right between the dresser and bed. There was also a piece of lint. These items had been there since Monday. So obviously the room never got vacuumed. I went to the front desk and complained about them not refilling the coffee service, and she gave me 2 pods of decaf. (I dont drink decaf but did not notice until I was back in the room.) Friday, we left before maid service came. When we got back Friday night, clean towels, bed made, lint and paper on the floor and one coffee pod for two people. Saturday morning, we checked out and the front desk clerk asked if everything was great with out stay. I told him the I was certainly dissatisfied and why. His response was Im sorry. I mentioned that they had charged a pet fee but never bothered to vacuum while we were there.

  It is okay for a short stay

  I stayed at this hotel during the CORVID-19 pandemic so many of the facilities were closed as expected; however I think they could have done a better job based upon experiences at other hotels nearby prior to and after this stay. They were down to one housekeeper and I would have expected them to keep the very best, yet my room was not cleaned twice during my 7 night stay. They did not offer any breakfast items whereas other hotels are providing milk, OJ, coffee and individually wrapped muffins & breakfast sandwiches. The bed was also less comfortable than the other two hotels despite their pricing being within $5/night of this.

  Weekend getaway

  Great location on I-35W, between Fort Worth and Denton. . .Clean, quiet room. . . Staff was great. . . The only knock is that we wish they would have had breakfast (unable to due to COVID-19). ADDED BONUS: THERE'S A BUC-EE'S RIGHT ACROSS THE INTERSTATE FROM THE HOTEL!!!!!

  Surprised to find out this hotel is about 6 years old

  This hotel is so clean and nice that I was surprised looking at reviews just now that it is over 5 years old. The rooms are clean and modern and everything was in working order for me. Just across the highway from Tanger Outlets and easy access to anything you might need to do in Fort Worth. The person I am seeing just recently moved to Northlake and had no furniture so I needed a hotel near his apartment. This hotel did the trick! There is a QuikTrip across the street that is fantastic for any convenience store needs you may have. The pool was closed when I stayed so I wasn't able to evaluate that. The only issue I had was my last night of my stay, a family with several young children checked in very late at night. The children were so terribly awfully loud I could hear them til nearly 4 am. I complained to the front desk who unfortunately couldn't do much. I was compensated with points by Wyndham, but it doesn't get my sleep back. Would probably stay there again though.

  Great stay

  This property used to be a Holiday Inn but was taken over by Wyndham. Place looks brand new. Rooms are spacious and the hotel is immaculately clean. Good internet sprred and nice Cable TV with lots of channels and they have all of the sports networks (Big 10, SECN, NBCSN, FS1). Right across the street from the QT travel center (limited semi pkg) so if you can find a space for your big rig this is a great respite from sleeping on the truck. Five stars!
