  Welcoming

  I received a very welcoming check-in by Jessica. Rooms have wifi, refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. Hotel is located within a few miles to the local restaurants. The breakfast buffet had many choices including cinnamon rolls, meats, eggs and yogurt.

  I wont stay here again..

  I very very rarely give a 1 star, but this place deserves it!! The place is trashed - dirty hallways, business computer doesnt exist, no coffee available. I had to unplug all the wires on the TV and plug them back in (by direction of front desk)... the front desk seemed unmanned... room didnt seem clean; still had a coffee carafe in the coffee pot. Bathroom door wont stay shut without manhandling the door handle; bathtub is dirty. Breakfast was dry and the soap in the shower was empty and the bottle holder on the wall was super loose. One of the lotion bottles in the bathroom was open and used; and Im not so sure the sheets were actually changed (but I didnt want to think about that too much!) one positive was the morning desk staff was very friendly and pleasant to talk with.. the night guy seemed lost ..

  Needs a lot of improvement, not like a normal holiday inn.

  I've stayed here for business twice due to company booking it. Needless to say if they wouldn't be for that, I would never stay here on my own. First, cleaning doesn't happen when they are supposed to do it. It is always late. Not only do they forget to do things, like taking out the trash, they also do not clean the carpet or give you towels unless you ask. The alarm system goes off at random. The ac doesn't work in the room and they keep the hallways super hot. Due to covid they aren't doing normal breakfast. They use to provide coffee but the machine broke and the y haven't replaced it. For it being summer, it is terrible. The outdoor area is discussing. There was leftover food out there and the seating is sticky. If i were you, I'd pick another hotel unless you aren't a clean person yourself. The only thing good about this hotel is the manager on duty is a sweet woman and trys to help you out.

  Ridiculous

  They kept me up all night because their internet was down and they were unable to run my credit card. I stay here quite often because theres not a huge selection in Cuero so its not like Im going to skip. I allowed them to write down my credit card info, told them that I would check with the front desk the next morning and reminded them that I have tons of rewards points (Im a platinum elite member) that could be used as well. They continued to harass me until I paid in cash for my night this is all at 2 am when I had to be up by 6 to attend a cancer treatment with my mom. Needless to say Ill never stay here again.

  Unclean

  As an IHG member this holiday inn is disappointing! In October we stayed two nights; when we checked in they gave us an unclean room! We called the front desk to verify if it had been clean and the staff apologized and said No so they give us another room! The next day we check out, but realize we need to stay one additional night so we go and make another reservation. And believe it or not the room was Clean but the bathroom had NOT been touched minus the trash. To add insult to injury, housekeeping knocked and knocked and knocked with the Do not disturbed sign on the door. And before we could get to the door housekeeping was opening the door. When they realized someone was in there they asked for the dirty towels and handed me clean ones even though we were checking out. So we decided we just need to leave. When all this was brought up to the staff they once again apologized but nothing was done. However gentleman at the front desk calls the owner saying the housekeeper has failed to clean the room properly and is entering rooms that have yet to check out. The owner tells the gentleman well what do they want me to do about that!
