Keep on going to next hotelHotel was dirty and in poor upkeep. Employees hanging out in lobby while ignoring customers at the receptionist desk. Hotel gave my underaged son beer without carding him. Not sure how Holiday Inn can license such a poorly operated establishment that blatantly violates the law. Spoke to the "manager" who clearly has no management experience. Owner Hera got involved, as an owner you shouldn't scream and demean your PAYING customers. I will never stay at this dump again and being the parking lot was nearly empty, I would guess a lot of other customers have made this decision too. Also there appeared to be no Coronavirus considerations being made as other hotels are doing. Was told pool was closed by State of Indiana but "were not stopping the guests from using it" No Thanks!

They need to add a Door!First, this is a clean, modern, hotel. Service was good. The value was good. Now the, however. I choose a first-floor room (103) and I admit I was not paying attention. Across the hall from my room was the loudest, continuous running ice machine ever! All night long ever few minutes it dumped ice and it was loud. They need to add a door to suppress the noise of the machine. Also the ceilings are thin plywood. I could clearly hear the conversation in the room above me. So, when you stay at this hotel, ask for a third-floor room, facing the back, away from any ice machines. Hope this helps.

Won't stay here againWe stayed here 3 nights because our home sold and we were in town for the closing of that. We booked on hotels.com, which we've used a lot. Upon checking in we were given a first floor room. When we entered that room the smell of urine was overwhelming! The front desk lady, whom is also the manager, apologized and gave us a 2nd floor room. Upon entering this room the bathroom was filthy. Hair all over the floor, sink etc. The toilet was dirty. We call the front desk and the manager was still there...her name is Amy.....she came up to the room and took us with to look at other rooms before moving all of our luggage. The next room had garbage in the trash, the beds were a mess. She said an employee she recently fired was sleeping in the rooms on third shift and then eating in them and not telling anyone. Finally, a room on the third floor was clean for us to stay in, however the tv wouldn't work! We said we could wait on the tv guy to come the next day to fix it. After all of this, Amy, the manager, showed me on her computer screen that she was giving us a discount and that she would call hotels.com and get the discount arranged. Upon check out she could not provide me a printed receipt with the discounted amount, but gave me her word that she would get it taken care of. Well that was the end of March and now it's the middle of june and it's not taken care of. We will not stay here again due to the lack of cleanliness of this property and the lack of customer service.

Avoid this place.Even though this hotel is new, this was far below the standards of Holiday Inn. The owners apparently want to save on every little item. The TV, direct TV, was almost impossible to work. Tried calling the front desk but, after a dozen rings, I gave up. The shower had a dismal flow - to save $$. The water was lukewarm at best. The toilet had a ring around it. Yuck. The breakfast muffins were stale - ?? bakery outlet?? A lot of other runners and I ran the race early Saturday morning and we all placed our orders the night before. But it was a Chinese fire drill the next morning. Felt sorry for the runners deep in the line. I think most of them gave up and went somewhere to eat. Last time for me in his place.

Literally worst hotel visit Ive ever had.Wow, where do I start? First off, I thought the HI Express was a pretty safe bet and this one was built very recently. I called a few times and I shouldve known it was a red flag when there was never staff to answer the phone. Water pressure was super low, water was warm at best, and TV remote didnt work. They didnt have extra towels for guests when we went down to inquire about them. Then there was the absolute worst part. The breakfast staff. We filled out a breakfast sheet that had to be turned in the night before to receive breakfast. When we went down the next morning, the breakfast lady, I kid you not told me, Im going to be ticked if you guys dont finish all of your food because thats a lot. If you dont eat it you need to bring it back because Im running out of food. Well we took the food items she sat out and told us to take and went back and sat down. Well apparently she mixed up orders and had put 4 English muffins on a covered plate that was for another room. She came to our group and said did you take the English muffins? and we realized we had them mixed in with our stuff and politely handed back. We said we were sorry that we only took what she told us to. She then SCREAMED I didnt tell you to take anything. My brother said mam that is very unprofessional to be speaking to us like this she then proceeded to scream through the lobby that she didnt give a sh** if she lost her job, this place is a joke and they wont fire me, they cant get no help in this place. By this point, I was visibly upset and housekeeping walked by and said they would find a manager to talk to. A half hour later, no manager ever came and there was nobody at the front desk at checkout. I didnt think it could possibly be that bad of a hotel, but now I wish I wouldve looked at the other reviews and found somewhere else. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
