  clean & comfy & quiet

  stayed here for two nights. clean, comfortable, and quiet. rooms are on the larger side. large bathroom was very clean. breakfast was your usual holiday inn express fare. kids got a real kick watching the machine making their pancakes (which were ok). close to many restaurants, some of which have discount coupons available at the front desk. quite close to interstate 80 interchange yet very quiet. pool was nice. good size for children. i will stay here again if we are in the area. my only issue was the unfriendly staff. the check in desk person was friendly but did not put us on the same floor as the family we were traveling with as we requested in writing and in person. staff who passed you in the hallways didn't speak. the breakfast lady never spoke to guests, only coworkers. also, she would rudely cut in front of guests who were filling their plates or cups. usually the holiday inn breakfast ladies are quite chatty and friendly while keeping the breakfast area running smoothly and efficiently. the staff greets you with a smile or hello, etc. whenever they pass you. otherwise, i would have given this hotel a 5.

  Great contemporary stop in the Pennsylvania wastelands

  This feels like a spanking brand now hotel with great amenities off I-80. The hotel is in an area with lots of gas stations, every chain restaurant known to mankind and a Walmart. So, unlike some of the stops on I-80 where you feel isolated, theres a lot of choice here. Hotel has a nice gym and pool and breakfast has healthy choices like fat free yogurt, egg white omelettes and turkey sausage. Free coffee and cookies at night. View from the rooms is a parking lot or another parking lot but at least the black out shade really works.

  Wonderful hotel and staff

  Very fresh and clean! Staff is friendly. Housekeeping brought what we needed during covid. Workout room is clean and has lovely large windows! Pool is warm abs clean. Highly recommend. Will return anytime were in town.

  Comfortable - but not clean

  This hotel feels newer and the two queen suite was nice and spacious. However, we were a little disappointed in the cleanliness. There were crumbs on the remote control - and a potato chip on the desk chair. Since we are still dealing with Covid - this made us question how thoroughly they are sanitizing between guests. Clearly not much. If you have concerns - I would stay elsewhere.

  No Masks

  Be aware, even though there is a sign on the front door plainly asking people to wear masks in public areas of the hotel, no in was...including the front desk staff. If a hotel is not following their own guidelines, we question whether they are following CDC COVID guidelines in sanitizing rooms between customers. We paid extra expecting a higher level of attention to following CDC guidelines. We should have spend half at the Motel 6. Disappointed.
