  Surprising Gem

  We looked all over the area for a room for around $100, including through Airbnb and VRBO. This hotel showed up and I booked it online, getting the internet special for a one night stay. It was new, clean, modern, and simple. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet on a Friday. There were several restaurants within a block, one of which we loved, Tapped Brew House & Pub. I would stay here any time in the future. Loved it!

  Brand new and very clean and sharp.

  Easy access and quick check in. There are restaurants close by and local shopping. Very little if any street noise and overall very quiet. The coffee is always on and it's actually very good. The staff is courteous and friendly as expected but it feels more genuine than most places. Overall a nice place to stay.

  Nice new hotel in a great area.

  We had a long day of driving and we needed rest...... looked up hotels on our phone but decided to just walk in and see what they had. To our surprise we got the room cheaper with our AAA card then any of the "discount " sites. It was a good call very nice front desk clerk helped us right away and the place is so new and nice. Clean lobby clean rooms great full breakfast. Water pressure was a bit on the low side but I am sure it has to do with water saving fixtures. Over all really good stay.

  Convient New Hotel in East Vancouver/Camas

  I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for two nights in early January and it was a very pleasant stay. They hotel is fairly new with many modern design elements and amenities in the room to make for a comfortable stay. The common areas are well decorated and the free breakfast was better than most. The staff was very friendly and helpful with advice. The hotel is walking distance from a number of restaurants and bars in the area. My only areas for improvement with this hotel are to improve the water pressure in the shower and also to allow for a hotter water temperature in the shower. Would definitely stay here again.

  Very nice... except

  We stayed several nights in this hotel to visit our daughter and family who live in Camas. We travel a lot and often stay in Holliday Inns. This one is brand new with very nice spacious rooms and very nice staff. We may stay here again. However, We stayed during the pandemic and were quite shocked that no staff wore face masks and were often huddled together chatting. There was a plastic shield at the front desk but frankly the staff did not seem to be trained in how to take required precautions. They were all very friendly so I blame the management. We even had a staff member, un masked, join us in the elevator after I indicated I would be more comfortable if she would not. I hope that this situation changes soon as we did not feel safe. Otherwise its a lovely hotel.
