  Clean, comfortable and friendly hotel

  The hotel was as expected for its class. It is a new hotel and seemed very clean. The only complaint I have is that I accidentally left my notebook charger in the room and it magically disappeared. Yes I was careless, but I have left items in many hotels in the past and have never had a problem having them returned to me. Two days later, the same charger without the cable (just as I left it) magically appeared on eBay. Coincidence? Maybe....

  Great Accommodations and Customer Service

  This Holiday Inn Express & Suites just cannot be beat! The customer care here is simply outstanding and they go above and beyond from the moment you walk through the door. Keyijah who helped me at registration was simply super! What a bright and welcoming person she is and she does her job so well! Also, she called me by name every time she saw me during my stay. I really liked that! Chuck was so helpful the evening I needed help in the Business Center and was having difficulty with one of the computers. He saved the day for me! Thanks Chuck! And then there is Maryanne and Roxy who take care of breakfast. WOW! Who wouldn't want to wake up and go to breakfast and have these two lovely women assist you. They really take care of your needs and make sure everything on the buffet is replenished and hot! Not only that, but they will welcome their guests in the dining room! I have never seen that kind of love in any other Holiday Inn Express!! But, they do it in Atchison! The housekeepers keep the rooms, hallways, and staircases spotless. I know the staircases were very clean because the elevator was down for a few hours and I had to take the stairs. And the lobby was spotless too! I do highly recommend the Atchison Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Atchison. I do a great deal of travel so I do know my hotels and this is a good one! This hotel is just a very happy place!

  Awesome Stay!!

  My paranormal team went to Atchison to investigate the "Sally House". We checked in and I had our team logo on the shirt I was wearing. The woman at the front desk asked what we were doing in town and so I told her about our team. She told me about her haunted experiences. By the next morning, folks were telling us where to go and who to see and were actually embracing their paranormal history! The people we met in Atchison were wonderful and informative. I would definitely stay here again. I can't say enough about how positive the experience was for us!

  Amazing Stay!

  My girlfriends and I took a haunted road trip and just had to stay in Atchison since it's the most haunted town in Kansas. We were blown away! Not only was the hotel clean and in great shape, it was welcoming and homey and everyone we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. Beyond that - Robin and Roxy were fun to the point we wanted to snatch them away from work to come hang out with us! Sharing history of the town, making recommendations of things to see, sharing facial-care tips and being just as silly with us as we were with everyone we came in contact with. We've been home for a day and are already talking about going back sometime just to hang out! Thanks, Atchison! and Thanks Roxy and Robin!!!

  Best option in Atchison

  Under the current COVID-19 situation; we never felt uncertain, uncomfortable or uneasy during our stay. The staff is very welcoming and warm. All the precautions and CDC procedures within the hotel were very apparent. They have done a great job implementing the "new-normal" to keep everyone safe and healthy.
