  Never Again

  The property is a remodel of a previous chain (Comfort Inn, I think). Although clean an remodeled, I would give it a C+, at best. At check in, the desk person seemed to be suffering with a head cold, complete with sneezing and coughing. The modern design of the place is fine but the quality of workmanship throughout the building is sub-par with mismatched plaster repairs,poor paint finishes, window shade cords that are difficult to reach and operate and an overall sense of not caring on the finish. Also, this has probably the smallest bathroom I have ever experienced in a modern hotel. We stayed only one night due to a family event. There wont be a second.

  Tiny bathroom decent beds

  Front desk staff was incredibly nice. The other comments regarding the tiny bathroom is spot on. Holy cow. You cant even turn around. Beds were comfortable enough. People obviously didnt pay attention to the finishes (moulding, trim, etc). Breakfast oatmeal was super salty thus inedible.

  Excellent

  Tried other hotels... this one far exceeds any others. The staff and management are meticulous about cleanliness and friendliness. The view, pool and sauna are a plus, as is the good food.The Breakfast is Wonderful and the service is Excellent

  Nice renovation job

  The Holiday Inn Express was very nice. It's conveniently located very close to a Walmart Supercenter and some other stores. It also has a Denny's, Wendy's and other fast food very nearby. Not only is it close to the airport it's also conveniently located to Interstate 81 north and south and Interstate 476. The suite was very very nice. A one-bedroom that the door closed so you had to separate living room and bedroom area. Blackout curtains that really blacked out. With the refrigerator microwave & Keurig coffee. Very nice I recommend this hotel. They did a great job on the renovations!

  Nicely renovated, close to airport.

  I stayed here once before the renovation and was not pleased, but now, very nice hotel. My stay was during the Covid19 pandemic and the staff had gone to great lengths to make the check in process as sanitary as possible. The staff was most friendly. The room I stayed in was a little small compared to other HIE, but perfect for 1 or 2 people. What it lacked in size it made up for in amenities. Super nice!! There is a super Walmart and several restaurants within walking distance. I stayed because of it being close to the airport. They didnt have a shuttle to the airport. Dont know if thats always the case or just during the lockdown period. I drove to the airport and parked there. Literally took me 5 minutes. I believe its the second closest hotel to the airport. I will not hesitate to stay there again.
