  Air Conditioning Sucks in Room 233

  We made reservations online 4 hours before our arrival. Someone went into the room and set up the sofa bed. They didn't bother to turn on the air conditioning. By 8 AM, the room was still 84 degrees. Great breakfast choices & friendly staff.

  Clean, quiet, modern and comfortable but well off the beaten track

  Stayed for 3 nights at this suburban new-style Holiday Inn Express. The room was modern, spacious and clean with good air conditioning, an opening window, a hospitality tray, safe and an iron / ironing board. The bed was exceptionally comfortable which, together with great sound insulation and very little external noise, made for a good nights sleep. The inclusive breakfast buffet was very good indeed with an excellent selection of good quality hot and cold items. The only real downside of this place is its location. Situated in a soulless business park in a south-western suburb, its a 10-15 minute walk to the T6 tram and then a further 20 - 30 minutes ride to connect to connect with either RER Line C or Metro line 13. Either way, it will take you at least an hour to reach central Paris and about 40 minutes to get to Versailles. Do check that RER Line C is operational; on 2 of the 3 days during our stay it was closed for engineering works and this lengthened journey times further. On a more positive note, the nearby Westfield Velizy 2 complex ( a 5-minute safe walk from the hotel) offers a range of affordable eating options, a cinema, a hypermarket and decent shopping options. Overall a good value choice and a comfortable and pleasant stay. Id only choose it again though were I to have a car at my disposal or if I was specifically visiting the Velizy area.

  Modern hotel

  Comfortable room, good and quality breakfast. Friendly staff. It's close Velizy 2 Tram station. Check in and out was easier and on time. I got the room close to Gym in first floor. Looking forward to stay again. Thanks.

  Convenient location

  Good hotel Very clean, friendly staffs and good location. Big shopping centre near the hote. But there is no refrigerator in a room.

  Business Hotel in an industrial area

  I was staying at the Holiday Inn on a business trip to Velizy. The hotel was quite nice and the room was clean. I was greeted friendly when checking in and otherwise the service was good. The breakfast was quite big and had a good variety for a hotel in this category. The TV programs offered in the room were only in French, so in case your French is medium make sure to bring something to read or watch while in your room. For those of you who would like to visit Versailles from this hotel, a very convenient bus connection leaves right in front of the hotel. It takes about 30 minutes to go to Versailles. All in all I had a good stay for the price I paid.
