  First class treatment

  Incredibly accommodating staff, especially Tracy, who made the breakfast buffet experience first class. In addition to keeping the buffet well stocked and spotless, She even gave the small children toys to enjoy in the morning. Great job, Tracy! Comfortable rooms, accommodating staff and clean hotel. Nice pool and workout room too.

  Family get together

  We drove to meet in the middle for a little family reunion with my sister. The room was over priced, but a good location on the freeway to stop. The pool was freezing and the hot tub was extremely hot. The food at breakfast had no flavor. The front desk could not even give direction to a location only 15 minutes away and no maps were available.

  Great service, clean rooms, excellent price.

  My friends and I stayed at this hotel on Thanksgiving day/night. We were in town for the Texas Tech game. From the minute we checked in, everything was great. The front desk manager, Michael, was very friendly. You could tell that he really appreciated out business and was happy we were there. We went to the Ladybird Cafe in the Indigo, which is attached to the HIE. The bar staff was amazing. Micah was friendly, but Jose A. was the star of the show. He's incredibly friendly, knows his craft, and he was genuinely thankful we were there. The Thanksgiving day meal at the HIE/Indigo was very nice. The kitchen staff put a lot of work into it, and you could tell. I will stay at the HIE / Indigo in Austin again on my next trip. If you live in Austin and want a fun hotel bar, I highly recommend seeing Jose at the Ladybird.

  Clean, pleasant, helpful

  Have stayed here before, and liked it. Returned this time for family funeral, the were kind enough to offer a bereavement discount. Initial room check in VERY helpful and attentive. When we entered room, heat was off, with fault code on the display. Desk manager Immediately provided new room, and before we could finish transfer down hall, staff was in room to troubleshoot heat problem. Missing hair dryer in our new room was quickly replaced by another very attentive staff member, with a brand new dryer. Breakfast was better than the average free type. Spotless rooms.

  Nice hotel. Not much for service.

  I checked on Sunday evening to a roaring welcome at the front desk - NOT. Im an IHG Platinum Elite member, not to sound impressive, and I usually hear some sort of welcome or acknowledgement. Nothing this time. Serena eventually told me where the elevator and my room were. The hotel itself was nice and clean and the complimentary breakfast was okay.
