  Internet demasiado lento

  La habitación es buena y limpia. Sin embargo, tuve problemas con el internet (demasiado lento). El personal del hotel solo me brindo un numero de telefono a donde tenia que llamar (no se preocuparon de realizarlo ellos). La línea de soporte tampoco pudo solucionar el problema. La persona que me acompaño tuvo el mismo problema tanto con su laptop como con el celular.

  Great stay

  We stayed at this property on the first night of our cross country road trip. Check in was easy and the room was large. Bedding and shower was more than fine. Everything seemed very clean. Rooms were quiet. Cracker Barrel was an easy walk across the parking lot for carry out. It looks like several other restaurants had at one time been near the property but have now gone out of business. Breakfast was of a "grab and go" variety due to the pandemic.

  Its ok

  Its an an area that seems to be having economic problems. Closed restaurants and lots of trucking. The staff was extremely nice. My room was on the third floor and the air conditioning never could quite catch up which left the room feeling kinda damp. It is right next to the highway which made getting places easy. The WiFi was very good.

  Cleanest hotel in Morton!

  We attempted to stay at a different hotel across the street from this hotel for cost effectiveness. It was $20 cheaper but not worth it. We ended up over here and were very glad we did. The hospitality is outstanding and cleanliness is up to par. Everything smelled clean and looked nice and new for a welcoming & relaxing stay. We stayed in the double queen suite with a pull out couch ($110). Very comfortable & you cant beat Holiday Inn beds/blankets/pillows. So comfy! The room included a mini fridge, microwave, plastic (covid) plates/bowls/silverware, wine opener & can opener along with plastic cups & an ice bucket. This was also the first hotel we stayed at that has full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner & body wash - great idea! The only disappointing thing that we wish we could have enjoyed, was the pool. It was still closed from the Corona Virus but all the other hotels pools in town were open and the Holiday Inn hotel in the next town away (East Peoria), all had their pools up and running (reason for the 4 star with our family). Their free breakfast from 6:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. is so convenient for families. Overall, a great stay. Thanks Holiday Inn!

  It was OK

  I get it. I really do. Hotels are doing things to supposedly stop the spread of Covid-19. I'm really tired of every fail supposedly being related to that. Would it really kill HIE to put a pen and pad of paper in the room? Is the omission of that amenity really helpful to my safety? Touting "breakfast" but missing some significant elements in my opinion (milk) and mostly just microwave breakfast sandwiches. Other HIE have the usual buffet but have a staff person serving it. I'm not sure that we can blame running out of staple items on Covid--- which I see IHG doing on a very regular basis. Clerk at the front desk must serve me coffee! I cannot get it myself. I request that he hands me the top so that I can put my cream in and avoid spills and also avoid having his hands all over the cover. I'm informed that HIE apparently tells him he must apply the cover. Can I just say that I'm NOT a germ-o-phobe but under any circumstances I'd prefer to not have someone who has just handled computer and passed objects and documents back and forth pressing a lid on a cup that I will momentarily put my lips to? He tells me that he doesn't have to change the gloves because they are multiple use work gloves and not single use glove and HIE uses hospital grade cleaners, therefore it's all great to multitask with the gloves on. But still... someone else's hands all over my sipping surface. Seriously, just wash your hands just as every restaurant worker has done for years- or better yet let me fill my own cup and someone can wipe down the coffee handle from time to time with that hospital grade cleaners. Mess with my coffee and bad reviews result. :( Not just this hotel, but seeing this through HIE- where I am spire and have been very loyal for over a decade. And how about those bio hazard bags (yes really, just like the ones in hospitals for disposing of bio hazard blood and body fluids) hanging on the door of my room where I'm supposed to strip my own sheets and put them in the bag? I'm starting think that the "pandemic" is a really good excuse to give poor customer service and cut back on services and amenities. lately there is no difference between HIE and an economy hotel. Specific to this property and IHG in general.
