  The good and the bad

  The good: Very clean and new. Service and breakfast are excellent. Location is good. The bad: They charge $25 for a dog. Beds are hard. Down comforters are hot and no blanket substitute is provided. Room rate is high. Walls are thin. You can easily hear talking.

  Work Digs

  I had to travel to Casa Grande for work, i looked at the reviews ETC and opted for HIE. I arrived at around 9PM, Check in was friendly and smooth, the lift is to your right. I had a room on the 2nd flood not far from the lift. The room itself was a pretty good size with a nice "American" bed, their was also a coffee maker and microwave. The best thing about this hotel (by far) is the bed, its one of the most comfortable i have ever been in. The rest goes downhill, i walk into the bathroom and find long black hairs on the bath, the towels were nice though. I drifted off to sleep quite quickly only to be woken by the bing bong of the lift arriving at level 2, The upshot is every sound from the outside in the corridor, bedrooms either side and above can be heard in detail & i mean detail. I was then wandering what the low hum was and after tracing it to outside it turned out to be the Walmart lorry parked on the waste ground outside with the refrigeration engine running, this continues to the early hours until it left (every night) The following morning i used the breakfast facilities, the best thing was the OJ , the hot selection was help yourself, never before in the US have i had to eat of paper plates with plastic knives and forks - Classy. Their are lots of hotels in a short distance along Florence 287, they cant be any worse??

  Very clean & comfortable

  Great bed. Limited work & luggage space. Hair dryer was a pain - had to hold down button constantly to keep it running. Very good hot breakfast. Every staff member we encountered was exceptionally nice and helpful.

  Comfortable beds

  Stayed a week for work and COVID restrictions hampered food service, swimming pool and exercise facilities. The room was large, the bed was very comfortable. The receptacles on the lamps didnt work for my phone but overall very comfortable.

  Traveling through

  The stay was OK. We were traveling through the country over to the east coast and we have stayed at this hotel before when doing long road trips. When we got in I really needed to use the restroom after a 6 hr drive. They were doing construction in the lobby (we had no idea we did not receive an email or a phone call) so the lobby restroom was closed. I stopped by the desk to ask if they had another restroom I could use and the front desk agent just said no. So I had to drive over to a nearby gas station.... the room was fine. Beds were comfy and it was very clean. However around 11pm as we were falling asleep the fire alarm went off and scared us half to death. No warning no instruction so naturally we ran outside. Nothing was happening and the front desk did apologize. Overall the stay was OK but the hotel is lacking communication
