  Great place to stay!

  From the moment I arrived I felt welcome. Cookies on the counter at check in, tea and coffee available all the time. I always travel with a swim suit and the pool was great! Excellent breakfast, including egg white vegetable omelets. Comfy bed, great temperature control for room comfort, clean and spacious. Great location close to restaurants, Couldn't be better!

  We will stay again

  We stayed for the recent conference swim championships. The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was as promised. We arrived tired after a long afternoon and evening of competition and were thankful for being granted late checkout the following day. We will be staying again for future events.

  Very good place to stay

  First time staying at a Holiday Inn and I was pretty impressed. The hotel was in great shape. Our room was well outfitted and very clean. Bed was good. The breakfast had good options. The automatic pancake maker was a hit with the kids. The wifi setup was a bit clunky and didnt work for me. Overall, I would stay again.

  Overpriced and underhospitable

  We arrived at this holiday inn after having spent three wonderful nights at another Holiday Inn express in the UP. Comparisons are said to be odious, but it was impossible not to compare how badly this property compared with another Holiday Inn Express in Michigan.... Where do I begin? Well, we made a reservation for a pet friendly room and understood that there a fee of $25 extra a day ($10 more a day than any other place we stayed) for additional cleaning. The only catch is that due to Covid, they do not clean the rooms until guests leave. Our pet sleeps in his travel crate which we were told had to come in through the side entrance Then on the second day, we were accosted by a chiripy front desk clerk (Joy?) who accused us of trying to sneak the dog in. Such welcoming hospitality was only exceeded by their breakfast which, again due to Covid, was grab and go and frankly below gas station quality. A room on the second floor was adequate if a little cramped in a pain in the neck to access with a dog crate. If you are staying in Hastings Michigan in the summer, you dont have a lot of choices for decent places to stay... And while this is a decent place, I would look a little bit harder to find something else maybe in Middleville because Im offended when staff at a hotel accuse me of trying to sneak a dog in (with a huge crate?) And then remind me that they caught me.

  Very nice! Clean and very friendly!

  We just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel. After a 10 hour drive hour we just wanted to check in and go to a clean, comfortable room. We were met by a very nice gentleman at the desk and quickly checked in. They are using all the safety precautions necessary in these very uncertain times. We get to our room and it is spotless! Very spacious and very clean. I am the GM of a hotel in Gettysburg and I am VERY picky! This hotel impressed me and that is hard to do. Now I will say that the Breakfast leaves a bit to be desired at this point due to the restrictions caused by the virus. However, we understood and felt that at least you were getting something to eat and it certainly was not their fault. I am sure that they normally offer a very nice selection. Thank you to the staff at this hotel for making our stay a stress free one. During these times it is important to feel safe and secure and they made us feel just that. We have family in that area and will definitely be back.
