  Awesome

  It's a new hotel or looks like. Bathrooms and rooms glaze like new, not too far from the airport, great breakfast, you can still order pizza or sandwiches after hours. Shuttle to airport is free 1 way. I strongly recommend.

  I felt my privacy was intruded by the receptionist.

  I was travelling with my friend so we preferred to stay in a same room but with separate beds. At the time of booking, they were a choice of double bed room or a double bed with one sofa bed to choose from. Since the bed in Europe is much smaller than those in the States, I chose the later one with a premium fee as I sleep better with big beds. At the check in, the receptionist failed to welcome me as a member nor assigned me to the room type I booked for. I only learnt that I have been downgraded to a double bed only when I entered the room. No reason was given at check in. I went down to the lobby again and spoke to the same lady, no apology was given either. She kept repeating herself " You only have two people why do you need a sofa bed? " She believed a double bed would do us alright so she decided to downgrade us without informing us. So here comes the problems here, 1. Hotel did not honour the room I booked for. They have assigned my room to someone else without a reason, and still charged me the same price. 2. Receptionist intruded upon guests' privacy. I don't think I have the obligation to explain to the receptionist what I do with the room I booked for, or how we sleep at night in order to be assigned to the room we booked for. 3. The receptionist then twisted the story when she spoke to the manager, saying that my booking is not a guaranteed one, which is simply not true, despite the fact that the booking was directly made at ihg.com and I have the CONFIRMATION email with me. At the end, I asked the manager on duty to fix the problem. What she did was only to refund the difference to me in room price and set a rather simple extra bed in my original given tiny room. If we knew the situation would turn out like this, we would have chose somewhere else. My advice to the future guests staying in this hotel are as follows: 1. Regardless of what room you book for, please come to check in as early as possible or your room will be assigned to other without a reason or explanation. 2. Be prepared to explain , as you will need to persuade the receptionist why you need such a room. 3. Make sure you have your confirmation email with you, or they would twist the story and told you that your booking was not a guaranteed one, even if you made your booking on their official website with a credit card. Overall, this hotel is new, and the staff here needs more training in order to live up with the ihg brand.

  NOT an airport hotel, but decent

  To call this an airport hotel is a misnomer as it is a $30US cab ride from the airport. WE tried to contact them from Africa prior to our arrival, but were unable to. We waited for a shuttle, but after 9 hours of flying, just wanted to get there. Once there, everything was efficient. Room was small but comfortable - no frills, had a decent snack-type dinner, but choices are limited (have the pizza), breakfast buffet was excellent. Caught the shuttle back to the airport (about $8). Runs every half hour.

  Excelent place to stay, clean, new

  The place is about 10-15 minutes to walk from the railway station and next to it is a supermarket. We stayed just a night as we were in transit but the room looks just as in the pictures. It is a new hotel you can see it. They have a decent offer for dinner, I liked my soup and particularly the flammkuchen. you have a tea pot in the room so tea and coffee to help the longer nights. Friendly staff and it was quiet. Will stay again for sure.

  Stopover

  This hotel is fairly new but easily accessible to motorway and airport and a short distance to Frankfurt. Great value for money for what we paid, excellent breakfast, friendly staff and wheelchair accessable for those that need it. Highly recommend for the budget conscious.
