  Quoted one rate, charged higher rate, very rude manager

  My husband and I arrived at this hotel Jan. 8th, late afternoon after a long drive. Did not have reservation but the woman at the front desk told us they had rooms available. After we asked for either AAA or AARP discount she quoted us $90 plus tax. I said perhaps we should look online to see if better rate was available, the woman then told us she found a rate of $80 plus tax, for a total of just under $90. We quickly signed the bill and went out to eat. In the morning the bill under our door stated we were charged $94 plus tax. Spoke to a different woman before breakfast, this turns out to be Cristina Crane, the front office manager. She told us that we were not quoted a lower price and showed us a bill my husband signed for the higher price. We explained we were very tired the previous day, she insisted that it is not possible that a different price was quoted, essentially saying that we were lying. That has really upset us, in no way did she try to remedy the discrepancy, she was rude and arrogant. We have never been treated so rudely in any hotel.

  Wasted money

  For a waste of money, this is the place to stay. Money hungry managers. Terrible service. The location is awful, when theres a much better Holiday Inn just up the street with much better service and plenty more amenities. Dont waste your money or time at this location.

  Great Hotel

  My wife and I stayed at this hotel on our cross country trip. The hotel is newer and very clean. Room was nice and clean and the service was great. Hotel is located in a good area I would recommend this hotel.

  Over priced for the location

  My family and I stayed here and while I was over charged it was ok as I was told it was beach front, it was not! My view was an old dirty house and for $250 I need it clean and beautiful! Those prices are awful!!! Bugs and a super small sitting area, we didnt even stay for the free breakfast! Mold in the bathrooms. I also saw the price significantly cheaper online and they wouldnt honor it? We moved to a best western beach front for half that price and its clean!

  Typical HIE

  Spent one night here while exploring Floridas panhandle. Check in was fine. Hotel is typical, with an outdoor pool. Shower was weak, but everything else including sleep was fine. Not far from Fort Walton Beachs downtown.
