  Don't let the older building fool you. This is a great property

  I regularly stay at Holiday Inn express properties. This one stands out in customer service, amenities, and the general "we care about you" feeling. I was impressed from the moment I walked in the door until the moment I left. Parking lot is well lit. Breakfast service is excellent with a hostess that makes individual contact with you. Rooms are older, but are updated. Internet speed is acceptable to good. I didn't expect a lot, given the location but this is one of the nicest HIE properties that I've stayed in. Take it from a happy platinum elite member this is a good place to stay

  Great Hotel for Quick Stay Near Detroit

  We loved our stay here. We wanted a hotel just outside downtown Detroit with free parking in a safe area. This hotel did not disappoint. Another great stay at a Holiday Inn Express. Most of the clients seem to be business people at this location and the hotel is not a traditional HI Exp but it is cool and clean Go Enjoy!

  Great Price & Great Location

  This is probably the closest nice hotel to some of the automaker's warehouses without staying on 8 Mile Road. Even though we arrived at midnight, the desk agent was welcoming and quite helpful. She had the same attitude when we were back downstairs 6 hours later. Breakfast was just what we needed, the rooms were clean and somewhat modern, even though a renovation upgrade is currently ongoing, and we were out the door with no problems. Ready to go back to see what the new look is! Thank you!

  This place is not the holiday inn express youd like to stay at. The toilet seat would not stay up. The shower drain was slow and had to stand the grey water. I dont mind some marijuana but the scent down the hallway is absurd. People hanging out everywhere in the parking lot. I will never stay at this place again. If your wise you will stay somewhere else.

  Nasty and smelly

  My husband and I were staying here while he is working in the area. The hotel is under construction right now but that was not the issue we had. The hotel smells of marijuana and smoking. The hallways are filthy; trash left laying in the floor, broken glass and a used marijuana cigarette was laying in the hallway. We checked in late so didnt really check the room until the next morning. The floor and the tub had hair all over the floor, the tub was not clean and the towels were stained,the shower curtain had a cigarette hole in it. The microwave had food left splattered. I called the manager to the room and she had house keeping come and clean it immediately. Very disappointed in the cleaning of the room especially when everyone is supposed to be focused on cleaning because of the COVID-19 virus. We checked out and moved to a different hotel the first opportunity we had due to my husband work schedule. I attached a few of the pictures that the manager addressed when I called.
