  Buen hotel con habitaciones pequeñas

  Chentelham es una preciosa y elegante ciudad situada en los Cotswold, zona del centro de Inglaterra que merece un viaje para saborear sus paisajes,pueblos con encanto y esencias inglesas narradas en su literatura y películas. Este hotel está relativamente cerca del centro urbano junto a un gran centro comercial con cines y restaurantes. Las instalaciones comunes son muy correctas y agradables, no así las habitaciones que en caso de viajar en familia exigen disciplina organizativa y habilidades contorsionistas para poder transitar de un lado a otro. Demasiado pequeñas. Mejor en pareja y así estarán más apretaditos. El desayuno está incluido en el precio que, por cierto, está muy bien para estos parajes esterlinos.

  Excelente opción para viaje de negocios.

  La atención del personal siempre fue buena. La habitación tiene todo lo que ocupa alguien que viaja de negocios. WIFI gratis, desayuno, cama cómoda y televisión en HD. La velocidad del internet es muy buena, el desayuno consta de fruta, cereales, jugos, como plato fuerte ofrecen frijoles, huevo revuelto y salchichas. La habitación se siente moderna y el baño esta en excelentes condiciones. Opción altamente recomendable.

  The hotel itself is fine, unfortunately staff ruined the experience

  The Room assigned was moderately tidy and cleaned, and the breakfast was brilliant, however I wish we could have stayed later, the staff dont seem to know anything that the other does, after calling prior to arrival I was informed that checking in early would not in any way affect my check out date, however the next day I was called by reception asking if I was checking out today, confused by this, one of us went down to the reception to see about an explanation, and against what we had been told by the night/early morning staff, as well as the gentleman that I rang prior to coming, apparently checking in early does affect when you have to check out regardless of the reservation, that along with smug managerial staff and incompetent receptionists makes it difficult to suggest staying since the service was awful on the front end, but all else was fine

  Very dirty bathroom and had to clean it myself!

  I have stayed at many Holiday Inns over the few years both in UK, Europe and around the world through work (booked via our agent Key Travel) and have always found each stay value for money and Ive never complained before. Unfortunately, during my stay at Cheltenham Town Centre (27 - 30 October 2020) I found a large amount of pubic hairs all over the shower area and bathroom floor (see attached images). Im usefully not fazed by the odd hair or slight bit of dirt but this was excessive and pretty disgusting. We arrived around 4pm and after dumping bags in the room and heading out for dinner I didnt use the bathroom until around 9pm. I tried calling reception several times between 9pm - 9.30pm but nobody picked up... I eventually got through at 9.45pm (ish). I explained the situation but was told nothing could be done until the following day when the cleaning team would be on site but of course I really wanted a shower. I was instead offered some cleaning products (eco-lab cleaning disinfectant spray see images) to clean the bathroom myself!! Obviously I didnt expect to be cleaning my own bathroom during my stay but this also worried me as I would have expected the cleaning to be absolutely spotless during the Coronavirus pandemic - it seemed like the bathroom hadnt been cleaned at all from the previous guest. I have since received a standard templated email response from the Guest Relations team which acknowledged my complaint but no explanation as to what went wrong or how this could be put right. To be honest this has put me off using the Holiday Inn chain or in fact hotels in general during the current pandemic as it doesn't feel like cleaning or care around cleaning has been stepped up at all!

  Finishing my final year in University

  Great hotel, 5 minutes from Pittville Park. Fitness club included which 3-5 minutes walk. Town centre maximum 10 min away. I love that holiday inn have these facilities near, its made my stay varied and enjoyable! Its quiet around, my sleep was not disturbed. Friendly staff members, I had all help that I needed. Delicious breakfast. Professional cleaning service, always on time. I enjoyed my stay))
