  nice holiday inn

  Check in was easy and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately the first room they they gave us had a very strong clorox smell so we had to ask to be moved to another room. The second room was nice with very comfortable beds and a large clean bathroom. The only problem with the room was the climate control was very loud so I had to send my husband out for some earplugs. You can never go wrong with the HIE cinnamon rolls (the best ever) but they didn't have bacon or scrambled eggs that morning. It doesn't make sense to me why they don't have those every day because many people don't like sausage or omelettes with sausage/cheese/ham in them.

  Questions about booking

  I am writing this here because I could not find anyway to contact TripAdvisor to discuss my booking. I booked through TripAdvisor at this location for a room on November 17, 2020. The confirmation number is 49577114 and the total was $114.29. I received a call from the hotel the same day saying they had no rooms available and to call TripAdvisor to change my reservation. I wanted to confirm that I was not charged for this booking.

  Not a good room experience

  My bed and towels were all dirty with mascara stains and weird brown stains. My drain in the shower also was clogged along with the soaps. Not highly recommend if you need to stay here for any occasion. Also the staff did not follow CDC guidelines for Covid which made me feel unsafe

  Josephine of housekeeping was extremely down-to-earth. We nicknamed her "Auntie Joe" within MINUTES of speaking with her as we checked in. Kim at breakfast was so awesome, She had a positive attitude and was so very friendly. Asha at the front desk was amazing. She was extremely accommodating and even allowed me to use her personal pen. The only things that we did not like was that there was no hot water in the hotel during our stay. That was not very pleasant to experience. Also, there were not trash cans in all of our rooms, and we had to switch one of our rooms because the bedding had too many visible oil/ink spots on it.

  NEVER STAY HERE

  This hotel was absolutely terrible. Due to a mixup with CLC, they called the police on me WAY before checkout time without giving me time to even get down and pay or straighten it out. I still paid the full balance including the day I was forced to leave early. I called IHG to file a complaint and the hotel LIED to IHG and said they did not call the police they were just patrolling (yeah knocking on random doors making people get out) and what is now making me open a lawsuit against the hotel, they told IHG there was smoking marajuana in the room. Im a pastor, a business owner, and my 3 month old baby was with my wife and I. Whether your a business owner or just a traveler DO NOT stay here. CLC, Credit Cards, and Debit Cards often have problems. Most of the time you just have to call especially if your traveling. Keep in mind if that happens to you this hotel WILL call the police on you, force you to leave, pay for the full ticket, and LIE when you try to get assistance.
