  Hotel viejo y con pocos servicios tanto en el mismo hotel como alrededor. Para una noche de paso, no está mal porque esta cerca del aeropuerto, y en caso de cancelacion como es mi caso, la opcion es aceptable

  Internet connection a problem- Room needs a little TLC

  We stay in Holiday Inn Express frequently. This one was OK but did have some issues. We had a suite this time as we were gathering with family for a funeral so it helped to have the space to visit. The room was very large and comfortable BUT had we had others staying with us, the bathroom was tiny! Could have taken a bit of space from room for the bath space. The furniture etc was a bit worn- floor lamp tilting and tp holder loose /coming off the wall, etc. Bed was comfortable- there is a bit of road noise from major road below so may want to ask for room away from that street. Plenty of drawer space, large closet with extra hangers. Biggest complaint was that wifi connection was difficult to obtain and maintain and it was extremely slow. One staff person said this has been an on going problem so apparently they are not interested in resolving it. This hotel is in a good location for restaurants, grocery, drug store, gas stations and that sort of thing if you are staying a few days. Breakfast was the usual but was very well stocked and hot. No complaints with that.

  Recommend for the area

  Stayed for 2 nights in room 500 which is a king suite, a corner room away from the street and looking over the back parking lot, it is across the exit staircase and that exit is beside the supply room but the room is a few doors away from the elevators and ice machine. Room was clean and spacious with an armchair, king-size bed and sleeper sofa. There's a wet bar, microwave, and mini-fridge (which worked). The work station is adequate with an ergonomic office chair. Plugs were in the table lamps which are beside the bed, sofa, and workstation, no USB plugs though. The bathroom has a tub (which I prefer) instead of a standing shower. Complimentary breakfast options are typical, but with basic Asian options too. It is located within walking distance from a Japanese grocery with a food court and a pharmacy store chain, but far from the city of Chicago. Good lighting in the parking lot in the front entrance of the hotel and parking is free. There is a shuttle van I saw in the morning and afternoon, but I didn't avail of this service. Front desk staff were always welcoming. The only complaint was the AC in the room was noisy - for reference, on a constant fan setting, the TV volume has to be 15 and above. When AC is off you can easily hear the TV below 10. Would recommend if in the area.

  Room not clean

  Left for an entire day, came back to an unclean room. When I asked if someone can clean my room, I was told nobody was available. Unacceptable! Stayed in many hotels, never had to request my room to be clean after leaving for an entire day!

  Disgusting

  Hair covering the bottom of tub-My hair is grey, not black. No hot water. Could not shower. This place is a real disappointment for IHG. Wont be staying in an IHG hotel again. I am a member of Bonvoy, Hyatt and Choice.Never had athis kind of experience with them-will go to those for my next stays.
