  Very nice & somewhat new HIE in Plano

  This property appears to be fairly new. I was in town for a travel softball tournament with my daughter and we stayed 8 nights, beginning 7.27.2019. Staff was friendly and accommodating, the hotel oclean and the cleaning staff appeared to be very attentive to keeping it that way. Room was very nice, beds were very comfortable, with both soft and firm pillows to chose from. The AC worked exceptionally well, which was huge as some of the other hotels we've visited this summer have had very substandard ACs. When the outside temp is in the high 90s to over 100 degrees, THAT'S what you want more than anything. Front office staff was friendly and helpful, even letting me check in ridiculously early on our arrival day, which was nice, as we got up at Zero Dark Thirty for our flight from DC to Dallas. Breakfast is nicer than what you usually find at these establishments. The biscuits were wonderful, better than you'll find at most restaurants. Cleaning staff was great. Greatly enjoyed our stay and would eagerly stay at this location again.

  Good luck sleeping!

  The hotel is located RIGHT off of the tollway AND highway. If you get the rooms facing that? Have fun trying to sleep. No soundproofing. Look, I have stayed at many hotels right off of the Istate in large cities, and traffic noise is expected. However, I have never experienced anything like this. Will it change? No. Is there anything to do about it? No. Will you/others continue to stay here? Yes. However, I just wanted to share that it is very loud if you get the bad draw of rooms. Be advised.

  Great Facility

  Very new and well kept. Helpful and courteous staff. Wonderful indoor pool. Freeway side can be noisy for sensitive sleepers. Less than one mile to Whole foods and many restaurants. Breakfast is standard IHG fare, in Pleasant settings

  Good Spot - but road noise detracts

  Nice hotel in proximity to several options for food just a short drive away. Room was in good order all around. Staff were both competent and friendly. Sadly the road noise from the highway never much lets up, so hope that youre either equipped with ear plugs or a heavy sleeper.

  Great value!

  The hotel is very clean and the staff has been top notch. The WiFi works great and our room was very clean. The breakfast is good as well. The hotel is easily accessible from the highway and it seems to be in a safe area. The hotel also has a washer and dryer that is very inexpensive to use. Most other hotels easily charge over $5 to use. We paid $2.50 in quarters. If we are back in Plano again, we will be staying here.
