  New Property with Lots of Problems

  I stayed here a couple of weeks ago using a reward night from an IHG Chase Credit Card which I have. Making the reservation was simple. Check-in was simple. The hotel is new, and it has a very clean, inviting lobby area. My problems began when I got to my room. The bedroom area was great. It was large, comfortable and clean with a comfortable mattress and pillows. The bathroom was my primary complaint about the room. The toilet had not been properly cleaned and needed a good scrub. This property uses large bottles of shampoo, body wash and conditioner in the shower. My body wash bottle was empty, so I had to use the shampoo as soap. This was not a huge deal, but combined with the toilet issue, the bathroom, needed help. The next morning, I found my bill under my door, and I had been charged $40 for my stay despite using the anniversary night. The desk clerk told me that he manager would be in touch to clear this up. That was two weeks ago, and I just recently called IHG customer service who threw me back to the hotel. Hopefully, I will hear from them soon. The most RIDICULOUS part of my stay came at breakfast. The breakfast clerk was filling cereal containers when I got there. I got myself a bowl of raisin bran and went to get milk. There was none. I asked her about this, and she said that they had no milk. I asked why she was putting our cereal with no milk, and she had no answer. I had planned to bring these issues up with the manager when he called me; since he never did, I'm bringing them up here. A property this new should NOT have these issues. I cannot recommend this property, and if my billing issue is not rectified soon, I will likely sever my long relationship with IHG.

  Best in the West

  Brand new and professionally run. Met with a cheerful smile and my platinum staus was acknowledged immediately. Room was spacious and had everything you could ask for and the walk-in shower was a wonderful addition. Shower head was great and the shower was hot and inviting. Breakfast was one of the best I have had and the staff running it are outstanding. This is a must stay while visiting Braselton.

  Nothing special. The check in was smooth They put me in a room that freaked me out I opened the blinds and my view was a mini cemetery. I know the hotel was empty so I could have gotten a better room. It was clean though and air worked fine. Other than the tactless choice of a room, it was a nice hotel

  Total Disaster

  One star is too many. Timothy Smith, the manager doesnt have the experience to be a Walmart Greeter much less deal with customer service at a hotel. The new hotel sign is the reason I stayed. It might be a newly built hotel, but not well maintained. That was disappointing, but not enough to write a review about. When a problem came up, I needed to change rooms at 1:30am, it was dealing with Tim Smith that made a problem into a disaster. Tim seemed to take his managerial job at a Holiday Inn Express like a CEO of a Fortune 500 company. When Tim was unable to solve the problem he created I asked for some one above him. His reply was the owner, but he aint going to talk to you. How about Holiday Inn Corporate, what they going too do. Bottom line is dealing withTimothy Smith would be like being on the Titanic and needing life boat 22 when they only had 21 available. It was pointless and I mean pointless to deal with him. Stay away from this place at all cost...........

  Ignore the other reviews - great place

  I was a little concerned with the reviews for this Holiday Inn Express but it could not have been better. It was extremely clean and quiet! The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was abit light consideringthe Covid accomodations but the server was very nice and the biscuits were delicious. I miss the cinnamon buns but hopefully after Covid they will come back? The room was large and I really enjoyed the shower stall!! Someone was concerned that there was a cemetery near it (really like that is a bad thing???) but I was put off by it. I would go there again!!!
