  Spiders, bugs, inside cabins. Not well kept.

  Cabins all bunched together and duplex type. No privacy. All cabins need to be completely emptied and de-bugged. We were scheduled to be here a week and there was no way we could stay. Booked hotel to get some rest then moved on.

  Needs updated

  The cabin we stayed in was in need of some professional maintenance. Appears they just half way fixed any issues it had. Oven door would not shut properly and the seal was falling off. The shower area looked as they just slapped caulking all over the place. Also there were dead mosquitoes all over the place. Appears they had fogged for bugs and didnt clean up afterwards.

  Dated but clean

  These are really cute individual cabins located under the pines with full kitchen, but they are extremely dated. Yes they were clean, but there are so many scratches and stains on the mid-80's-looking materials and the tired furnishings. They have the potential to be so cozy if owners just put a little money into them. Not much to do in the area as far as dining unless you want to drive into Tyler.

  Fun, Cozy Getaway!

  We were looking for "something different" and this choice was just right for our trip. We love the quieter resorts, and this one was perfect. We had a couple of maintenance issues that were quickly addressed by a very responsive staff. If we're near this area again, we'll stay in the future!

  Lake woods on December

  I was terrible to get into to be register, I came afterhours with my family for a long trip from Laredo Txs and when I got into the entrance I needed to wait for almost one hour to get into. however the people is very friendly no complaints but I think you need to share more information available all attractions you have there like the indoor water park and all discounts you have..i was not prepare for that so I can not took advantages of these ones..
