  November 2020 Visit to North Georgia Mountains

  We always like to travel to the North Georgia Mountains in the Autumn. However, we delayed going this year due to COVID-19. The leaves were mostly gone by the tie we visited but we still enjoyed our time visiting the antique stores, etc.

  Awesome place to stay!

  Great accommodations and very exceptional staff. Christian and Paxton at the front desk went the extra mile to meet our needs. Rooms were huge and the property had many activities to choose from. Great location close to many things to see. Would definitely stay there again

  Clean but Small

  Location is good with lots of parks and towns nearby to visit. We had a studio unit that was very small. There was only one comfortable chair meaning when we watched TV, one person had to use the bed for a chair.

  Not what it should be!

  This facility is not ADA Compliant, if you have a disability, find another place. My wife input a note on her reservation that we needed a room that is accessible, got stuck on the second floor of a building we had to go down skinny steps then up a flight to the second floor. There are buildings that had rooms on the first level. The clerks did nothing to rectify the situation. We noted that there is plenty of disabled parking at the front office, but little if any at the individual buildings to include those that have first level rooms with no stairs. Woke up this morning to find ants all over the counter. Room was clean, but there is room for improvement. They use the smallest cars they can find to measure the parking spots. Our car ended up getting damaged from some thoughtless individual that has no respect for other peoples property. Had there been disabled parking at our building, this most likely would not have happened. Hotels should have a link on their reservation pages that provides for requests of ADA rooms; very little if any do this. The shower never really got hot, but the water at the sinks would burn you - this makes no sense. I think our days of staying at Holiday Inns is done.

  Enjoyable Vacation

  We really had a great vacation this past week. At first my wife was very disappointed with our choice of location but as the week closed the area had grown on her. The location is really nice. I'd say its definitely in the "sticks". The villas are on the small side as well as old and worn. The only real issue we had was with housekeepong. The seats around the dining table were dirty. We found dirty silverware and bowls that we had to clean. The bathroom tub also had dirt and hair that we cleaned. Very disappointed that we spoke with the front desk about our finds and info was passed to the GM. The GM NEVER followed up. Quiet location with many great restaurants in the area, shops, parks and the beautiful outdoors. We had a great vacation and will definitely be back. Do appreciate being on the first floor. Will look to come back next year.
