  Comfortable stay

  Arrived late in the evening and check in was easy. Had an upgraded room with ample space for my family of four. Rooms were recently renovated and very nice. Only complaint is the bathroom door was shut when we got there and when we opened it, the room was very warm and smelled like old urine. We had to air it out a while. Other than that, our stay was nice and room was clean. We liked the late check out so we were able to sleep in.

  Lucky Deal and Excellent Find

  A last minute decision to avoid traveling home at night resulted in a lucky deal and an excellent find. I lucked up on a great rate for the night and was given a room on the top floor which had been newly renovated. The upgrades were nice. The top floor was extremely quiet. The front desk staff were very cordial and accommodating. I was given a room service menu in case I wanted to order in and not have to make the trip down to the restaurant housed within the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of places to plug in for recharging phones, tablets, computers, etc. Very nice atmosphere. Will definitely stay there again and request the top floor for the quiet feeling.

  Special Time

  The Holiday Inn was amazing. There were 4 of us and the room had a pull out couch. This allowed our 16 year old grandson to have a space of his own to sleep. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. It was a special time as it was my son's wedding. All the family stayed there and everyone was very happy with the accomodations.

  sheets smell

  this is a hotel straight out of 1995. The bedding smells dirty and very hard. We had to stay here for a softball tournament but I wouldn't recommend it.Very outdated and the odor cannot be tolerated. This town does not look like there are many other options.

  Great hotel; helpful staff!

  I stayed at this hotel on 8/28/20 and loved my room! The bed was incredibly comfortable - I almost wanted to stay another day just to hang out in it! The staff was very helpful and courteous. They went out of their way to take care of me. As someone who travels, especially during these crazy times, its nice to know theres still great hotel staff at places. Holiday Inn in Carbondale will definitely get my business again next time I come through
