  Muy conveniente como base para visitar los alrededores

  El hotel está en las afueras de la ciudad. tiene gimnasio y piscina que están muy bien (aunque la piscina es un poco pequeña). El personal es muy amable y el bar abre hasta las 22.00h sirviendo comidas. En el lado no tan bueno, algunas de las instalaciones necesitan renovación.

  Bueno para viajes de negocios

  Buen alojamiento a las afueras de Aylesbury. En cuestión de limpieza; bien, las alfombras poco viejas, el colchón de la cama muy blando para mí gusto, personal muy amable y muy buen desayuno, los platillos del restaurant también buenos.

  Disappointing

  Stayed here for work. Management have done nothing to help us, if anything the complete opposite. Room was ok, stayed here a week and room was never cleaned. No clean towels for the week. Reception just seem unhelpful and anything I asked for they were not happy to help. Prices expensive for food and drink, feel they are taking advantage of the Covid situation knowing people were working and needed a meal in the evening. Insisting food was pre ordered ? Holiday Inn not The Hilton. NO I would not recommend and will look forward to the Managers response as he seems to reply to reports left. Maybe if he spoke to his customers instead of hid behind a computer screen he would see how unhappy his customers are. Very bad treatment !

  Some TLC required

  Stayed here for 1 night whilst visiting the local area on business. The hotel was easy enough to find and plenty of parking spaces, first impression is that it is a well presented hotel with a very modern feel to it. Check in was quick enough and staff were very helpful. The bar/dining area was closed due to Covid restrictions but it looked to be very modern and stylish. I'm afraid once I got to the rooms that was when the modern and stylish looked vanished. The rooms are old, the doors are wooden with signs of years of repainting, corners around the door frames were found to be cracking and flaking. Inside the room itself was a bathroom with no towel rail, there is a shelf for towels to sit on but nowhere easy to hang them on to dry. The bathroom furnishings had seen better days, everything was clean enough but the taps and other fittings look to be overdue replacement. The coffee table, desk and TV areas were very old and grand style oak wood effect. I imagine these would have looked very luxurious 20 years or so ago, but in today's world they just look old and outdated. There was a modern ish TV on a seperate shelf to the desk but a little lower down. The TV was bolted to the shelf and set far back which means the bottom right corner wasn't visible from the bed as it was blocked by the corner of the higher desk next to it. Anyone who likes to have their phone on the bedside on a nightime can forget that luxury. There are no bedside plugs and I found plug sockets to be far and few between, one behind the TV was severely damaged around the earthing prong socket and could be a hazard. The sofa was extremely comfy and much more comfy than the bed, the bed was more springy than soft and again seems to be requiring replacement. The headboard wasn't attached to the wall properly, so I kept waking myself up as the headboard would occasionally knock against the wall with any movement as I slept. The fitted wardrobe doors opened with a stiffness, but there was spare pillows, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board which are always welcome. On the two times I tried to call reception or room service no one answered the phone. Now this review may read as having a terrible experience, but the truth is these were all minor defects and on the whole the experience was pleasant, but the hotel is in dire need of some TLC and looks poor compared to the vast majority of the much cheaper holiday inns.

  Decent hotel

  Recently stayed here for 3 nights on a flying visit before Christmas (and before area was raised from level 2). Booking in was easy. Bit of a trek to our room which was just about as far from reception as you can get. Room was spacious and bed very comfortable. Did not eat in the hotel apart from breakfast, which was fine, usual offerings for a hotel like this. All staff were pleasant and Covid rules applied throughout. Wi-Fi a bit intermittent in the room. Would stay there again
