  Very comfortable, relaxing stay...

  Nice, roomy and clean rooms! Nice king-size bed, spacious bathroom. Free WiFi with password. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a pool, but no hottub (only downside). The gym is ample enough for a good cardio. The restaurant food (breakfast, dinner) was okay, nothing special (3/5). Lots of great eateries within a 5-min walk. Old Town Alexandria is a 15-min walk from hotel. You can take the free hotel shuttle into Old Town and be picked up as well. Also, there is a free airport shuttle (10-min drive from hotel) which was really appreciated, even at 6am! Recommended!

  Worst Hotel Experience for the most money

  When we checked in we were never told to pick up our breakfast tickets at the desk each morning. We were never told how to exit the parking garage. You have to insert the ticket and press the call button then wait for the gate to go up. Once we had to wait about 5 minutes. The parking is $20 a night. Our first night was $260.. and another guest thought it was a playground for their child until 10 pm. The breakfast buffet was fair. The eggs were runny and the cook was li ate so we had to wait for the meat to cone out. Friday night on ou floor a group of kids, maybe ternagers, were left unattended. They ran the hallways knocking on doors etc. At 11PM and 2 calls to the desk a staff from "engineering came up to talk to them. Wondering if these were kids of hotel staff or something. The staff could have cared less about this. Co vid 19 came into play and the breakfast buffet disappeared. Instead tgey allowed you to order one breakfast from the menu and no extra sides etc. When the buffet was out there was fruits and pastries etc. Overall a bad experience.

  Nice relaxing stay

  For all of those looking for all the modern conveniences this is probably not the hotel for you. However, if spotlessly clean, exemplary and courteous staff, comfortable rooms and pet friendly are what you are looking for in this area, I would definitely recommend staying here. If you're traveling with your pet, the whole area around this hotel is suitable for walking, and the tree lined streets are very safe; plus there are lots of locals walking their dogs in the area, so that gives you an idea as to how pet savvy Alexandria is. The room itself, like I said above, was not full of all the latest modern conveniences, but it did offer a Keurig for morning coffee if you did not want to go down to the lobby for the free coffee there (which by the way is extremely good for hotel coffee). The spacious bathroom was spotlessly clean and the water always hot. The room itself was large and well located; the bed just comfortable enough to make it hard to get up in the morning. My only suggestion to the hotel would be to provide a brown bag breakfast to cover the loss of the buffet, due to this dried pandemic. We'll definitely stay here again when in the area.

  The front desk staff are superbly fine and fantastic

  5 star service for a bargain of a price. hope the parking fees go away. the hotel is dog friendly. the linens are superbly clean. all around i really believe this is a spectacular property. enjoy your stay

  Best hotel stay in decades!

  Traveled during COVID. Suite was **superbly** cleaned, everything sparkled. Chose no housekeeping, asked for a few items, delivered immediately. Moustaffa & Juan perfect ambassadors! We were treated better than 5-star hotels we've stayed in. Juan drove us to the grocery store because we had driven 1,000+ miles and were exhausted. Housekeeping brought us towels and she was so very nice & sweet. So happy to support employees & hotel during Covid tough times. We'll return.
