  It is a decent hotel for the price but the pool is not that great

  We spent 3 nights at the Valdor when visited Venice, Burano and Murano. The room was somewhat small. It is directly on the Beach and the garden is very beautiful, with swans and a fish lake. The breakfast was also fantastic. (8 Euros per person). The offered a nice buffet style European Breakfast. Secure parking was also provided. The personal at the reception was very friendly and helpful. It was easy to make excursions to Venice and other islands. The hotel had a pool. It was mediocre. The worst was, however, that the pool was closed from 12 - 3.30. I have never heard of a beach hotel where the pool is closed for hours. So if you want to enjoy the sun do not book this hotel. If you plan excursions, I guess it is a good base to do so. I have to complain more about the pool though. They had literally 8 beach chairs at the pool. Obviously there was hardly ever a chair available when you got there. So again this was unbelievable. Also the pool was fenced and there was hardly space to hang out there. So if you want a decent pool this is not the hotel for you. I also thought it was expensive to rent a beach chair at the actual beach. (10 Euros per person per day). There was also entertainment at night. I can not judge it since I did not attend but everyone seemed to like it. The restaurant also offered dinner, which I did not try but I suspect it was good given that it was full every night.

  Resort with a lot of veriety.

  My family and I were traveling to Venice and had a room booked at the Hotel Valdor. The lobby was an open air area with seating that was comfortable and had a nice view of the court yard. This resort also has a restaurant attached that offers a breakfast and semi formal dinner. You have to have reservations for dinner and you order ahead of time the breakfast is simple eggs, bread assortment, Fruits and cereal. The rooms are clean but are small. Our kids had a room the size of a college dorm and ours was larger with a queen bed, Our bathroom had a large walk in shower and dressing area. Our kids bathroom was small, so small that the toilet was part of the shower. The grounds that the hotel sit on has a camp ground directly behind it and you do have to walk through it to get to the pool and the beach. The pool area is small so we chose to go to the beach. To get to the beach you have to walk a ways but it is worth the walk. There is a place at the beach to get a drink and sandwiches. It is close to the docks for to catch the ferry to go to Venice.

  A long weekend

  We had a very relaxing weekend in Holiday center Valdor with our friends..the rooms very comfortable breakfast excellent for the price.A lovely walk to the pool & sandy beach. The hotel ,camp sight & beach restaurant is run by the family Zanella who are very friendly as were the staff. We will definitely return again in the Summer.

  Excellent location

  An impressive location, very close to the beach, surrounded by lots of greenery. The room is generous, clean with the possibility to expand the accommodation capacity. The chosen room is 3 people but can easily sleep 4 people. The bathroom is not very spacious but well organized. The staff is extremely kind, eager to satisfy any client's wishes. Breakfast is generous, rich and diversified. There is a free private parking. From what I saw, in the resort you can camp with your tent or caravan. Recommended for those who want to spend a successful holiday. Very nice.

  Family stay

  The great Hotel Valdor Center is the most peacuful destination for the Family, I had a great stay with my daughter, every evening children disco club, on the beach every day was a program for children, there are lots of things to do and we never had a boring time during our stay, the Hotel Staff is very friendly and helpfull, special thanks to all the Hotel Members and especially to the Animators :-) And its even close to Venezia by the Boat, you will arrive in the heart of Venezia. So you can choose between great clean Beach time or the busy historical Venezia. Ciao
