  Great family holiday spot

  We spent a week here in July and had a lovely time. The apartment is small, but well equipped and there are laundry facilities in the basement. Fresh bread is delivered every morning - delicious. The best feature of Hof Arosa is the wonderful indoor heated swimming pool - it is beautiful, with lovely mountain views from the large windows. There is also a sauna, which I did not try. The place is close to bus routes, shopping and the lake that is used for swimming. For summer there was a beach set up at the lake with lots of activities on offer. There are also endless walks to choose from and maps were available in the foyer of the building. We stayed in apartment A9 which has a nice big balcony (useful extra space), a small bedroom with two beds and two fold-down beds in the living room. It is close to the stairs and lift, close to the pool, and has a nice view of the small forest opposite. An added bonus was being able to listen to the concerts held in the forest.

  Amazing place

  The residence Hof Arosa is a very good solution for families who want to spend a nice holiday in a wonderful mountain environment. The residence is very close to city centre and to the lovely lake. From here you can walk up to waterfalls, hiking to the top of the mountains and enjoying the landscape. With the all inclusive Arosa card you can get all buses for free and all the cabin skilift during your stay.

  Family Apartments !

  Hof Arosa is a good option for small families as it offers well equipped reasonably spacious apartments. It is located at around 12/15 mins walk from the station. There is a short cut that consists of stairs that one could take to reach it. It is a small entrance lane near the casino. Saves at least 5 minutes of walk. It is very well located to reach the Untersee, and with a slightly longer walk to the Stausee. It is also very close to the local supermarket COOP and several restaurants and bars (which are typically on the main street that comes from the station - Poststrasse). One can take the Bus as well from the station. The Hotel has a very nice indoor heated swimming pool, with great views of the mountains. There are a reasonably sized sauna and silence zone. The rooms overlooking the mountains have big balconies and these are excellent to spec time while watching the mountains and the nature around it. Unfortunately, there is no daily cleaning from the Hotel's side. They charge you for cleaning though. There was only one person at the reception, some times and a cleaning lady. No other staff was visible. Ther is a recycling spot to dispose of your waste as well. It is located on a very quiet side street A great place for a family vacation or when in big groups of multiple families. We had a good time.
