  A Resort for cigarette-smokers

  This Resort Hotel offers no non-smoking guest rooms and all public area allow smoking. We complained about the odor (cigarette smell) in our room and was given a can of air fresher. It is also a cultural shock to us that their guests, mainly those traveling from Northern China, did not have the habit of closing doors and we could easily look into their rooms seeing them in their boxing pants watching TV and gambling - imagine the noise nuisance they made. We booked for seven nights and left after spending 15 hours there!!!

  Wi-Fi so abysmal I had to write this review using LTE

  Rooms were nice, clean, and air-conditioned. Quite bare bones for a resort though, and it is by no means luxury. Pool was well maintained with beautiful landscaping around. There is no gym, which is a major disappointment. But the worst part? The unbearable part? The Wi-Fi. To say I was appalled would be an understatement. This is absolutely unacceptable for a business hotel. I traveled on business, and required an internet connection to work. I booked the hotel, expecting it would have a good connection as it called itself a "convention center". Oh, how wrong I was. The internet speed is equivalent to that of a 2G/EDGE internet connection. And it wasn't just me -- I was traveling with colleagues who stayed in other parts of the hotel, and they too could not use the internet. Verdict: Stay here only if you want an offline detox and are ok without a gym.

  Nice holiday

  Good location on the beach, which is clean and no crowd. Near bus stop to go to the downtown. Big and clean pool. Lots of greenery. Beautiful, neat, clean. Minus - too much smoking, bad smell, to high prices in restaurants, but you can go to nearby cafes

  This Convention Centre is way past its prime.

  Very run down and poorly maintained. Not International standard. Lousy food and housekeeping. No direct public bus to airport or train stations. No seaside facilities like what the neighbouring resorts have.

  Old Shabby, noisy

  Hotel is old and not well looked after. It is own by HNA Group and seems to be full of their crew. Only other gets seem unhappy as they are in s very poor hotel. Food is just a very poor buffet. No bar No coffee bar Only life is when a party is being held and then the noise is awful and rooms not in any way sound proofed Rooms old , shabby and uncomfortable
