  Hotel had really nice modern decor. Receptionist was pleasant, free aircon and wifi. Complimentary water also . Room does not have fridge. It's not central but the BTS is about a 5 minute walk which u can get and then catch a taxi to central Bangkok (khao san road/the grand palace) wouldn't cost more then 100 baht all together . Only fault with this hotel was the bed was literally like sleeping on the ground the mattress was extremely hard and the pillow awfully big ! So if your looking for a good nights rest well then this isn't the place for you very uncomfortable .

  The staff were so helpful, there's no lift, so ask the staff to bring your luggage if necessary. I love the place, it's unique and worth the price. They charged me 40 bhat for one hour extension time. Near Seven Eleven and Family Mart, easy access. Even if you're using a Grabcar services, it worked just fine. Note the drivers that you're not a Thai, some of them can't speak English. However, the toilet is a bit too small. And if you're a smoker, I think you can smoke outside the room, they have a veranda/balcony on each room.

  A good spot to acclimatize!

  We arrived very early in the morning and had to wake up the staff, but we had emailed earlier to confirm this and they were ready and friendly. The room was petite, but very clean with good air conditioning and hot water. The saving grace of the room having no windows was the very small balcony that opened up to busy Bangkok. It was great to have to step outside as we acclimatized to a 16 hour time difference. There is a communal fridge between the floors and a kettle open to guest use. There isn't really a reception area, you have to ring the bell every time you need something. However, the staff are friendly every time. The neighbourhood was decidedly not touristy and had tons of great local food stalls! We took the local bus to Lumphini Park which was quite easy but a bit long if you don't have much time. All in all, Hive 28 was a good stopover for us.

  Clean and comfortable

  The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable air conditioned room with a balcony. Only complaint is that its a little far from the centre but the train is close enough

  Cannot complain much as only paid THB 490 on Hotels.com. Check in haphazard as a random lady appears from an adjoining building holding a phone as you are expected to state your name to this phone as a person somewhere checks your credentials. First room dirty and was unmade. Second room perfect. Comfortable bed, towels, TV, excellent fast wifi with easy login and reconnection after I went out. Room and building very small; doors just 170cm high. No fire escape but in a fire you could escape to next door via balconies. Excellent price and location so will stay again.
