  Great!

  My boyfriend and I stayd for one night. We booked a room without knowing anything about the hotel. We were pleasently surprised! The hotel is located in a charming little village, next to a beatuiful church (the church bell rings every 15 minutes). The staff were very friendly and helpfull. The room had a mix of old and new, charming old furniture but the beds were new and very nice to sleep in. The bathroom were also new, stylish and up to date. The restaurant had great food and beer, and is a must to visit! The reception is a mix between av reception and an old shop....really great!

  Charming hotel just outside Leutkirch

  We were somewhat disappointed that the hotel is not actually in the town of Leutkirch, but in a small dorf just a few kilometres in the outskirts. That aside, we were welcomed by a very friendly and helpful woman at reception, who helped carry our heavy luggage up the stairs (there is not an elevator and we are seniors). Parking was on the street in front of the hotel, but seemingly safe and without incident. Our room was quite charming and the fresh air most welcome. The hotel is situation across the street from a very beautiful old church that tolls the time every 15 minutes, throughout the day and night. I personally loved the church bells, but you'd want to know if you're a light sleeper. Breakfast was a generous buffet with a good cappuccino. Dinner was also very exceptionally good (not included). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Historischer Dorfgasthof Hirsch.

  In general my reviews are complaining of poor quality in expensive hotels with a thin gloss of excellence. Here I found charming staff, a lovely authentic location, no pretence, comfort and am content. I dont have a super king bed, a giant walk in shower or endless cosmetics, but I have a good price for great comfort and have thoroughly enjoyed this experience of Germany. I was hesitant of booking, but I, and my family, are very pleased with our choice and would encourage others particularly those with some sense of philosophy.

  Fantastic

  Fantastic little boutique hotel with nice interior and super friendly staff. Located in a small village just a few minutes from the highway. Definitely a must to try alte their local dishes. Breakfast was good and staff was very attentive.
