Average stay in downtown GJCool historic building located downtown near restaurants & shopping which is a bonus. This is a hostel-type property with several rooms sharing bathrooms. Theres a recently remodeled kitchen for preparing meals- breakfast is offered which consisted of a bowl of grapes & doughnuts. A coffee pot is available in the common area as well if guests want to make coffee. Common areas area fairly clean but could use new furniture & carpet throughout as they are worn & stained. This could be a great place with some key updates to the property. Staff may not be immediately available to guests 24/7.

Rude sketchy.Broken furniture, amateur-slapped-together "upgrades", mattresses seem as old as the building. But the worst part was the people. There were three resident employees. We could clearly hear their conversations through the single pane windows as they spent hours on the patio chain smoking and bad-mouthing ALL the guests from the previous day (including us). The building itself could be cute if they had not ruined it. We were supposed to have wifi, but it did not reach the rooms. Even in the common area it was only one bar of signal. The room did not appear to have been vacuumed.

Fell in loveSuch a wonderful hotel! The hotel itself is absolutely charming, the staff are very friendly and make u feel like ur staying with friends, & I love the fact that they have 2 cats that are complete sweet hearts!!! Wish I could stay longer, but I will definitely be back and book it for a whole week!

Cute, convenient, and cheapStaff takes great pride and they should. It's old, but classy. "Bathroom down the hall" is a minor inconvenience. Completely comfortable. Breakfast was good, not fancy. Nice patio. Half the price of nearby hotels.

NopeStayed here once before this time last year. In that time it has really gone downhill. The room I was in last year had A/C, was clean, private bath, and friendly staff. Close to downtown, and funky older vibe. This year I spent a total of ten minutes before I left. Room had no a/c, the mattress was thin and lumpy. Paid $100 for a private bath and was put in a jack and jill bathroom room. The room had been sorta cleaned, but empty soap wrapper was left in bathroom. Not that big a deal, but went to pull the blankets back and linens had blood stains. Last straw. Immediately left. Will never be back. Staff was not nearly as competent as last year. Clearly the C team is in charge and not geared toward running a hotel.
