  A Well Priced Local Hotel

  If you are looking for a hotel that is reasonably priced with a local touch, and you don't feel like staying in a typical $300 a night hotel, this is where you will find value for money.The rooms are large,apartment size in certain cases , clean, and everyone is ready to help with a smile.The service could be better, one morning no one quite knew where the cook had gone, but it was all sorted out. Sit in the bar and in no time you will be talking to local patrons. A five minute taxi drive will get you to the beach. Try and stay in the rooms that do not directly face the main road, as the traffic may wake you up in the morning. The wifi works well. This hotel is also relatively close to the airport, a good thing when you consider the Accra traffic. Call a few days before arriving to check that your booking is ok, no problems with my booking.

  Worse Hotel

  Stayed there for three night and my room was kind of dusty .......... And the worse thing is at the restaurant whereby the girls work like they have been forced and according to me they are unprofessional .. I won't recommend anyone to safe as the place is a crap

  Nice and friendly place

  Spending almost 2 months there because la palm beach was fully booked i discover his majesty a very nice place, calm, well located with continental breakfast offered not far from the beach,the airport, OSU street and the mall. try it!

  All good

  Customer service is not what is expected at all. Rooms are however not bad. A lot of trainings need to go into their customer training Room service however was on time. Room cleanliness was not bad. But I doubt if i will go back there considering their poor customer service especially at the front desk

  Only stay here for price

  I stayed here for several day and I cant in all consciousness recommend this place. Note that the staff are wonderful, lovely people but, this property is very old and basic. There is nothing luxury about it. Its probably at best a 2 star. The rooms are musty and poorly lit, the ground floors all face walls that people can walk past so you have to keep your curtains closed at all times which makes it darker. The bathroom is small and falling apart. I had several issues with flooding, the sink not working for several days, no hot water, panels falling off of the bathtub, wall tiles cracking. The breakfast food is just nasty. The bar only has a few drops of alcohol in some of the bottles. I didn't finish my stay here because I was just uncomfortable the entire time. This is not against the staff-they really are wonderful. But the property should be more honest about its description and market itself as a budget option in Accra for more of the young, backpacker, hostel crowd.
