  Worst hotel service ever, staffs are entirely not up to standard

  I am a travel blogger and influencer so I visit more than 5 hotels a month for free for reviews. I booked and actually paid for this hotel for more than HKD1500 per night and thank god I only stayed for one night, because this is my worst stay ever. This hotels services are entirely not up to standard and honestly I expected more from a big group hotel like Hilton, but I guess because the hotel is remote and customers dont get a lot of choices so they just dont really care. Staffs didnt really give me a warm welcome the second I step out of my car, which I was not greeted at all and I think that is something very basic. Asked for an upgrade or maybe a complimentary breakfast which are always available when I visit any hotel, I bought the most expensive room just below the executive room level but the staffs only mentioned how I am only a blue card member, and just kept mentioning the hilton club, to implied that im not on that level, that is very disrespectful. How the staffs handle things are definitely not professional. They gave me the card to the room, no one is leading us to our room, the bellboy should have led us, instead, he is following us, and we are quite lost at the front, this is entirely ridiculous. This hotel cant even discipline their staff to get the basic gesture right. Not to mention the oven in the restaurant is conveniently broken so we cannot order pizza and meat, which is 50% of the menu. Honestly this has to be the most expensive hotel in Yunnan per night, I stayed anyway because it looks nice and I trusted Hilton as a group, never thought I got the worst service out of it, I spent my other three nights in Kunming staying at Intercontinental and honestly the hospitality is so much better, cheaper as well (I booked the cheapest room and the gave me complimentary breakfast!). I saw not only one complaints on tripadvisor about this Hilton prior this trip and I think the hotel ought to improve, but no, I dont think they make any improvement but only trying to talk their way out of a bad comment (if you have seen their reply, poor english with lots of excuses). If it wasnt for the view and the pool for a photoshoot, honestly I would not book this hotel at all.

  Nice Hotel for a Conference

  I was here two nights for a conference. I found none of the service and staffing problems cited by the other reviewers. For me, the property was in great condition considering it is four years old, with good facilities and "good enough" service. The rooms are spacious and nice, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom open. Everything worked perfectly. And every room has a goregous view of the lake from the balcony. What more could you ask for? Second, the facilities are great: a huge outdoor pool and 25M indoor pool open all hours. the fitness center is good. the only problem is that the water dispensers only dispense hot water even out of the cold tap. I reported it. Third, yes service. Well this is a developing country. You have to make allowances. So approach it with the right mindset and you'll be fine the hotel is 45 minutes from Kunming airport. You need to arrange your own transport. Its far but the site is magnificent..

  Beautiful resort, excellent lounge

  Stayed here 2 nights, as this is the only Hilton resort near Kunming, it's about 50 Km from Kunming high speed rail, cost about 250RMB. Hotel reached out to me few days prior arrival, everything was set and check-in in the lounge. Lounge staff super friendly and accommodating. Food were 5 star, both breakfast and dinner.

  Scenic view at the best corner of Fu Xian Hu lake

  The Hilton is a very new hotel. All decorations are of good taste and shiny. But the best feature is of cause the great view over the Fu Xian Hu lake. From morning to evening, I can enjoy the lake view right from my balcony all day. What a leisure! You can also take a pleasant walk along the lakeside. It's really easy to stay in the hotel for the entire day.

  Truly amazing experience

  The hotel is very well designed, I loved the balcony with fascinating lake view. The food and service was amazing, I was warmly welcomed when I got off the car. Thank you so much for offering room upgrade and lounge access! Strongly recommend!
