Water poured into roomRoom flooded 3 time during the night. First time, maintenance came with shop vac and cleaned it up. The next two times, we just let it pour all over the floor. Room should never have been rented. Hotel offered 50% off but it should have been free. Travelers beware!

One night stayI primarily stay at Hilton properties when traveling and made our reservations the morning of our stay. We found the Front Desk Staff very helpful and friendly through out our stay. There were no extras due to COVID. The only issue was the almost constant smell of marijuana smoke while at the property. At one point we had to close our sliding glass window due to the smoke coming into our room. The parking lot was also an area where we found people enjoying themselves with marijuana. I know that it is legal now but have some common curiosity for the others that are staying at the hotel.

Nice Convenient HotelFirst time at this hotel. The front desk gal who checked us in was friendly and pleasant. The room was spacious and clean. Nice firm bed. At 11:30 pm, someone checked in next door (adjoining room). I heard every word from the group whom was in visiting this guest. Door slammed many times too. I know this is not the hotel's fault, though I assume there is not too much acoustical insulation between rooms. The location is cool, lots of shops nearby. It is a flight crew hotel. I will be back.

BEWARE!!BEWARE, I made a reservation for a three night stay at this hotel. After working an exhausting 12 hour shift, I arrived to find out they overbooked themselves. I was offered a discount (still at a significant rate though) for some sort of suite that had a pull out sofa bed. I was told that if I didn't accept these accommodations I would have to find some place else to stay. I was worried I would not be able to find anything else that late in the evening so I accepted. I was already late getting out of work and had dinner ordered to be delivered at the hotel in which I had confirmed reservations. I had to be up early the next day and just couldn't be up late trying to figure things out. I cannot believe I was even charged for what I experienced. The suite was some sort of conference room with a small couch that pulled out to an extremely uncomfortable bed. The man who checked me in suggested that I put the sofa pillows underneath the mattress, so in hindsight, he was very aware of how uncomfortable the bed was going to be. I'm not a spring chicken and I do have back issues which I expressed concern about when checking in. I also was going to be working four 12 hour shifts in a row, so getting restorative rest was imperative to being able to function properly and staying healthy. To top the evening off, after showering and getting into my PJs, THERE WERE NO LINENS for the bed, thankfully there was a sheet on the mattress and a pillow. I called the front desk to let them know I needed some sheets and a blanket and was told to come downstairs to get some. I only travel with scrubs and PJs, which I was already in, and again, I was completely physically and emotionally exhausted, so I slept in my jacket. This was a totally unacceptable experience for any charge, I checked out the next morning and told them I wasn't coming back for the next two nights. I made reservations at the Courtyard Marriott for the next two nights. I should have stayed there in the first place. I tried this Hilton before and was totally unimpressed, but the price was right, so I booked my stay there against my better judgment. FYI: The Marriott is the best place to stay in Stockton, followed by the University Plaza Waterfront Hotel. The Marriott has THE friendliest, fastest, most helpful, night time front desk clerk and the rooms are very comfortable. They have great parking and their location is quite and safe. I will never stay at this Hilton again, especially after finding out that there were EIGHT!!! (you read that correctly) other parties that had reservations the Hilton couldn't accommodate due to overbooking, so they "walked them over," meaning they arranged and paid for alternate accommodations, to the Marriott!!! I was not even given this choice. This Hilton's business practices are totally unacceptable and I want everyone to know before making reservations because the last place you want to be is in Stockton without a place to stay, ESPECIALLY, after coming to the area to provide a service they are very much in need of even without a pandemic.

Loud and UninvitingEverything about this stay was awful. When I asked the front desk agent at check-in about switching from a two Queen bed room to a King, I was told that I "booked through Expedia" and that they could not provide insight into the booking and/or availability. They were just "waiting for the funds to be released" so that they could "take care of incidentals". The other agents were discussing another guest who they seemed to be having issues with. Not a great start. I was asked if I had a preference to the first floor or the second. I didn't, but I was put in a room on the second floor where they were replacing the wallpaper. No mention of this from the front desk and the workers were literally outside of my door scraping and banging for hours. Other guests were loud, slamming doors non-stop and I could hear right through the walls and the door - since I was placed in a lock-off unit adjoining another room. Other things worth noting: The toilet wouldn't stop filling with water until I jiggled the handle. The tub was full of rust marks. The AC unit was so LOUD it drowned out everything else (though I was grateful to not have to hear the loud guests and work being done in the hall). This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a Hilton - very disappointing. I didn't even stay the night, I left a few hours later. I'd rather sleep on someone's couch than pay almost $200 for this kind of experience. RE: COVID Protocols: There wasn't any protection on the credit card terminal or the pen used to sign. There were some hand sanitizing wipes available at the front desk. There was no temperature check. The room and linens were very clean.
