    Unfortunately below par!

    I'll start with the positives. The staff are great, absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Really helpful and respectful of new guidelines. Brilliant, I wish them the best. The hotel is in a decent location, about 10 minute walk from everything in Leeds City centre you'd want to visit, and we'd regularly make trips back to the hotel from the city when we needed something. There are hotels better located, but they are more expensive. Now the negatives.. The car park is TIGHT. If you have anything larger than a hatchback, you will struggle getting in and out of the car park. I paid £30 for two nights stay. Not sure if that's a good price or not, it felt steep. The room and the hotel in general is very dated. The place needs a face lift! The thing that really killed it for us was our trip to the spa. We were in there for 10 minutes before having to leave because we felt sick. The steam room stank. The kids pool looked like a child had urinated in it. The pool and pool area felt dirty. The changing rooms felt dirty too. The whole place felt a little tired. I know things are tight for everybody at the minute, and I'm sure the hotel are no different. But the organisation need to help the staff out and give them a hotel that's on par with their service. Overall, I'd say avoid the hotel, and pay a little extra and go elsewhere.

    Wonderful staff

    Stayed for one night with my 9 yr old daughter. First time staying in a Hilton. We arrived early just to leave our suitcase and we were told our room was ready which was a real bonus, more so we were upgraded to a suite. Thank you. Had a fabulous nights sleep & breakfast was great & the service was wonderful we felt very spoilt. I would highly recommend this hotel.

    Stayed here just for one night, was real value for money. Well equipped for Covid and super friendly staff. Room was a little dusty but bedding was good quality and the room was big and comfortable. Breakfast was top notch served to you by helpful staff who couldnt do enough for you. Leeds is a lovely city will be making it a two night stay next time.

    The one and only good thing about this hotel is the staff! They are professional, friendly and nothing is too much trouble!....However, in our opinion this Hotel needs a revamp.... Sharpish! On walking in to the lobby on the ground floor the smell of sewage/ drains was overpowering even through our covid masks! The stay was for two nights for my husbands 40th birthday and we chose this hotel based on the leisure facilities.... But these were not accessible to us when we stayed. It is fair that there is a requirement to book a slot due to covid, however on a weekend morning they have water babies classes between 9 and 11 (I think) meaning that the pool was booked out. Why do this in a city centre hotel at possibly the most popular time?? So we didn't get chance to use the facilities. Then our room was a huge disappointment.... Tiny and very tired. The bathroom was dingy and In need of a face-lift. In the early evening we returned to our room to get ready for a night out and there was an extremely strong smell of cannabis throughout the corridor right into our room. Someone was clearly smoking it in their room. We rang reception and they quickly attended and moved us to a bigger room on a different floor. The new room was lovely and twice the size. Unfortunately the breakfast didn't get much better..... It was cold and not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Also the window sill next to our table was filthy and very off putting.. As well as the curtain which was stained with what I hoped to be food. ( see pictures) I definitely would not return to this hotel. The only saving grace was the staff who were so lovely and helpful! We did Consider moving hotels due to the problems we encountered but stuck it out after the staff were so helpful in moving us to another room. I would unfortunately advise to avoid this hotel like the plague!!

    Well looked after during essential visit in November 2020 lockdown.

    Had to go to Leeds during lock-down. Hotel very welcoming and COVID ready. Room service only during lockdown as described on their website. Breakfast better than expected - room service again. Felt very safe and welcome.
