    Excelente Hotel, habitaciones super modernas todo es nuevo

    Es un hotel prácticamente nuevo, la habitación 1040 que se nos asignó expectacular, por poner alguna pega, es una de esas habitaciones que se puede unir a otra mediante una puerta, y se encuentra mal insonorizada a través de esa puerta. Creo que pueden arreglarlo facilmente. El desayuno muy bueno y variado, la piscina en la Azotea magnifica. El personal muy amable y servicial. El parking gratis. La sala Executive Lounge muy confortable y el personal que la atiende muy atento.

    Buen Hotel

    Buen hotel en Kota Kinabalu. Moderno y actualizado, con todas las comodidades necesarias. Sorprende la extrema amabilidad de todo su personal desde el conserje al maletero, pasando por recepción, y en el comedor. No cabe duda que hacen más agradable la estancia. Habitaciones anchas, muy confortables. Buen buffet.

    A great Year-end Stay at Hilton Kota Kinabalu.

    Period of stay: December, 2020. Purpose of stay: Family year-end Holiday Our room: 1 king-bedroom Suite on the 9th Floor. As I mentioned in my last review for this hotel on June 2020, I hoped that the last review would be the first and last of a different kind of stay experience as the world still fights Covid-19 pandemic, sadly it continues on my next stays (We stayed here again on July and consecutively on September, October, November and twice by December. But since TripAdvisor won't allow multiple stay mentions on the same hotel at one review, I think I'll be telling the Latest 6D/5N stay from 27th December 2020 to 1st January 2021. As usual, there was no concierge personnel greeting us, but the lobby seems filled handsomely with other guests. As there were no concierge available, we only went to check-in at the reception where we were greeted by Maslan and Sara Eve (We've become acquainted since June 2020 and became used to know each other on next stays till this latest stay). They were delighted to see us and had already prepared the paperwork and gotten our room ready. By this moment, we gave them (as Hilton's representative) a small token of appreciation to the hotel as the hotel with Ms Linda Pecoraro and all the staffs that have been charming and wonderful to us since our first ever check-in at the hotel in August 2018 till now. During this stay, most sections of the hotel either closed or not available except the rooms, the lounge at 1st floor and Rooftop Pool Bar & Grill. We really missed the amazing hospitality of Hilton KK all the way since March 2020, especially the superb service tendered by the Executive Lounge staffs. Good breakfast delivered into our room every morning tirelessly by Leslie, sadly it become dull on our 3rd day as we rotated the 5 select menus. On the the 4th day, I went to buy breakfast at the restaurant near the hotel. In June, I've mentioned that the toilet amenities were changed to a basic ones, which duly replied by Ms Linda, the Hotel's GM that the hotel experienced disruptions of supply for Crabtree & Evelyn products. By next stays since July till now, we've served by the familiar Crabtree & Evelyn products again. The business centre opens everyday, and one day I've taken opportunity to use this facility with help from Dianne and Michael. Simply wonderful. Cocktail hour for Diamond Members/Executive Lounge Access rooms served in the lounge served by shift daily between Alex, Shahzila and Badriah and we didn't miss a single meal, just superb. I also brought my daughters to the Rooftop Restaurant and the restaurant didn't disappoint. A very good service by Feizal and I planned to celebrate a new year by the rooftop restaurant with my wife, but since the weather forecast was predicting that it would be raining at night, I've cancelled my plan. The forecast turned out to be true and the original venue shifted to the lounge on 1st floor, that was too bad. On 30th December 2020, my wife and I were given a sweet and memorable "Presidential Suite" room tour by Mrs Grace, Hilton KK Senior Manager of Sales. She showed us the spectacular room with amazing explanation and great attitude. We were delighted by this tour that has been arranged beautifully by Ms Farrah, a very very close Hilton KK acquaintance to us. Ms Farrah also arranged an awesome Birthday Decor and Chocolate Pralines for my daughter, we truly appreciate her continuous help! Our check-out in New-Year morning handled smoothly by Maslan himself. We haven't meet the new GM, hopefully someday we get the chance to meet him on our next stay. Summary: Supporting Hilton all the way!

    A City Hotel Suitable for Business Traveller

    GENERAL INFO Frequently stayed with Hilton Kota Kinabalu for business trip. Decided to write a review for them because I finally got an upgrade to the executive suite room Stayed for one night in September 2020, booked my stay through Honors as Diamond member REVIEW Check in speed is acceptable, not too much of hospitality thingy here because the hotel was spoiled with high occupancy rate before pandemic strike Lobby with lovely sofas and elegant design Helpful concierge with luggage Standard Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries Generally city view. Seaview blocked by buildings. Better seaview available at rooftop swimming pool No lounge available, and replaced with snack at rooftop restaurant and limited 2 glass of alcohol drinks per person No buffet breakfast, served with ala carte menu and pastries. Not much of surprise for the tastiness

    Home away from home

    I stayed here for a month because I couldnt go home due to the Movement Control Order (MCO). I must say Hilton is still my all-time favorite hotel brand as it always makes me feel at home, wherever the hotel is. During my stay, I was given a complimentary room upgrade with an amazing KK City view. The sunset canopy served every evening with the chef's creativity never failed to surprise. I would like to shout out to Sara, Dianne, Maslan, Benjamin, Farah, Yeow, Bella and Michael from the front deck and the magic call center for having been very customer-focused. They took great care of my breakfast orders, sunset canopy and drinks and made sure these were served on time. Room-service breakfast was delivered on time to me every morning by Joshua, Leslie, Zilah & Kenneth. Thanks also to Hilton chefs for preparing my special meals - I loved the steamed seabass, which was very delicious! I also appreciate the housekeeping team for keeping my room clean and tidy. The hotels cleanliness is top-notch; its CleanStay program really made me feel safe staying here during MCO. Overall, I am extremely pleasant with my stay. I look forward to staying here again. I hope the hotel and its team of great staff will stay strong and stay safe in the fight against the COVID pandemic!
