  Nice getaway on the island

  The location is very convenient, easy to get too, on the beach . Overall it is a great family or couples resort. All units are privately owned rented to the public. Generally there are two options of accommodations one and two bedroom units. We have stayed in both one and two bedroom units The one bedroom is comfortable for two people but no more. It feels more like a studio apt.The two bedroom is more spacious but closet space is limited. We would recommend the two bedroom units. Although we are very positive of the resort in general the only downside is that you have to use a public laundry room . There are no laundry facilities available within the units.On site facilities includes a restaurant, spacious out side/ great bar and most important a short walk to the beach.

  Great location, but beware of hidden fees

  The resort was beautiful, the location was excellent and close to the beach. The room was clean and exactly how advertised. I have a few complaints though that are bad enough that I won't be back. The first is the hidden fees, which in my opinion, should be included in the price of the room. I was charged a $100 cleaning fee and $25 parking fee. I was not told of these fees beforehand, and I had closely read the small print because I have had this issue before. Second, the tv didn't work. When I called the office to see if someone could come and help me I was told that there was no one on staff to help and the lady at the desk didn't know how to help me. Third, I booked an ocean view villa, but my room was on the opposite side of the building from the ocean and I only had a view of the parking lot. I understand that these are privately owned villas, but I can't imagine that there is no maintenance crew on site to help with mechanical issues. And I would expect an ocean view villa to at least face the same direction as the ocean. I called the first night, and no one followed up later to see if my issue had been resolved, or to tell me that the owner had been contacted.

  Fall Hilton Head Island vacation

  Stayed at Hilton Head Island Beach & Tennis Resort for the second year in a row. Stayed in a 4th floor unit with an ocean view. The view was better than last year as the ground floor ocean front view was mostly looking at the dunes. Facilities and grounds are always clean and the service is great! Plan on going back next year.

  Perfect for Beach, Tennis, and Biking

  During the pandemic and with the ability to work remotely, my wife and I took advantage of the opportunity to travel and visit a new place. Neither of us had been to Hilton Head Island but the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort was a perfect fit. We arrived New Year's Day and did not go over the bridge back to the mainland again for the entire month of January. Pros: -2 bedroom and 2 bathroom Admiral's Row oceanview was exactly as advertised, very clean, and relatively affordable. -Short walk to the beach. -Short walk to 6 well kept tennis courts and 6 pickle ball courts. -Denny, the tennis pro, is a great asset to the resort and offers private lessons for both tennis and pickle ball. -Bike trails throughout the island -Gator's Pizza is great to have so close -Area restaurants, bars, and Hilton Head Brewery are excellent. Drawbacks: -Bedrooms do not have a window to the outside (only to the hallway/breezeway -"Oceanview" is not necessarily "Oceanfront" -Guest/second vehicle parking pass is $25 -Plantations around the island are private and there is a fee to access Sea Pines community/resort which is essentially half of the island. Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort was a great first experience on the island and we're actually considering a permanent move to the area after having such a great time.

  Great place!

  We come to this place 5 years in a row! Our family of 5 loves it!! So many activities at the resort for everyone! Condos are in a great conditions with everything you need! We rent bikes at the premises and either ride on the beach or along the greenways in the city!
