    Rest stop before flight the next morning

    Stayed here on our last before our trip home the next morning. The staff at checkin were polite and friendly. Shuttle drivers were courteous. Got dinner downstairs n took it to our room. The food was good

    Pleasant place in the middle of covid 19.

    Room clean and ready on arrival. The Hilton Honors breakfast was phenomenal. Best I've had in years in this pandemic. Pancakes were hot and fresh as well as tasty. Bacon was really great. I have recently been in Staybridge properties and unlike this place, theirs was poor...this one great.

    Very nice stay

    This was a great stay for us, especially in light of COVID-19 restrictions. We were able to check in on our phone and use the phone as our "key" for the hotel's back entrance and our room. No need to interact with any staff. It was also nice that they do have a back entrance here. In our other recent Hilton Garden Inn experiences, the front door was the only obvious way to enter or exit the buildings. The room was in great shape. We picked one on the back side of the hotel, so any road noise would be minimized. Very little airplane noise, either. The room was clean and spacious with the usual amenities. Wi-fi was quicker than we had seen at most other properties on our trip. The location is slightly outside of the main area of Spokane, but you can be downtown in 10 minutes. Would definitely stay again in the future.

    Outstanding breakfast

    Our experience was mixed, but overall more positive than negative. As Hilton Diamond members we stay in a lot of Hilton hotels. We also always reserve a specific room with the online app because as a light sleeper, staying in a quiet room is very important to me. I prefer staying on the top floor if at all possible. For most Hilton properties, the app shows whether rooms have adjoining doors. The Hilton Garden Inn didn't show any adjoining rooms on the top floor, but since it's an older property, we were skeptical and made a call to the property two days ahead of time to verify this. Whoever answered the phone assured us there were no adjoining doors on the top floor. When we arrived exhausted late at night, we found out that wasn't true. Like a previous reviewer, we were booked into an adjoining room even though the hotel wasn't full. Since all the empty rooms still had unbroken seals, we could see there were plenty of rooms available on the top floor with no immediate "neighbors". When we asked if we could move into one of those rooms, we were told that they were not used during covid and were not set up for guests at the moment. We were offered a room with two queens (not the king sized bed we had reserved) on the floor immediately below the "unavailable" rooms. The room was clean and nice, up to Hilton standards. Everything in good working order. Internet was fast. Having to switch rooms was annoying, but no huge deal. However, the second night there were guests in the room above us. We heard them walking around. Fortunately they were considerate and not too noisy. Obviously, the room was available for other guests, just not to us? Either the check in clerks had no idea what they are talking about or we were lied to several times for whatever reason. The breakfast saved our stay. Even during Covid, the hotel serves a full made to order breakfast table side, free to Diamond members. I wish I remembered our server's name. She was very sweet and efficient and made us feel welcome. Choices included omelettes, French toast and potato scrambles plus fresh fruit and yogurt, juice and hot chocolate. All was delicious. The breakfast area was clean, we felt very safe staying there the entire time. Hotel is conveniently located and parking is free. To sum up, great hotel but check in process could be improved.

    Not impressed! For 179 dollars , peeling wallpaper , a semi-working toilet , leftover water in ice bucket is not good!

    OK , we tried a Hilton Garden Inn .. I was not impressed .. To start with 179 dollars before tax , on a weeknight , seemed a little much - The we got into the room , they had two 8 ounce bottle of water , if you were an upper tier member , it was free , all others it was 1.50 per bottle .. Next , Toilet wouldn't flush all the way unless you held the handle down - It takes a trip to Ac hardware and 5 minutes to fix this! The flapper is worn out! Next , peeling wall paper in bathroom - The , restaurant menu , tv guide and hotel info all were on QR codes on a piece of paper - I don't have my phone imbedded in my hand at all times , sorry! I could use a real guest book ... Slept pretty well , but basically , we will never stay here again! We had Room 142 on December 17th - Oh , and 14 dollars for breakfast on top of 179 dollars for room! And , lastly there was water in the ice bucket from previous guests , no liner for ice bucket
