  EXCELENTES INSTALACIONES Y SERVICIO

  Es un hotel con excelentes instalaciones, personal muy atento. Un hotel super limpio y cómodo. Si no hablas ni escribes bien el inglés es la única desventaja, el personal no habla nada de español. Pero creo que el idioma no es barrera porque el personal es muy acople e interactúa.

  Buen hotel para viaje de negocios

  El servicio fue bueno y muy atento, el hotel cuenta con Internet en todas las habitaciones con muy buena conexión por wi-fi y cable, justo lo que más se necesita en este tipo de viajes de negocios. Los desayunos están muy bien servidos.

  Confusing and bleak!

  Who would have thunk that a city as small as Soo Foo would have two Hilton Garden Inns? They do. I didnt realize that till it was to late.. way to late! I arrived at the wrong one after a long day of travel with dinner to go in hand. Front desk person at the HGI Downtown wasted 15 minutes of what was left of my night trying to find my name and run my confirmation number .. then epiphany! She threw out are you sure you didnt book the other HGI on TA? Im like there is one? Shes like .. ya this happens all the time! Great. So I had to reload my stuff drive all the way across town and do it all over again. The South HGI is wedged in a parking lot about 50 yards off the interstate. Nothing close to walk to except a Macdonalds .. $10 breakfast, thin floors (I could hear the people above me clogging till the sun came up) rattling fan/heat unit, 2 dollar bottle waters ..and both people at the front desk I dealt with acted like they would rather be anywhere that this particular bland Hilton Garden Inn. I feel their pain. Certainly not with the $125 last minute deal I paid for. Would have been better off at the Motel 6.

  A Piece of Americana

  My stay encompassed the dates of 12/25 to 12/27/2020. After having had a pleasant converstion on the phone with Dana from the front desk about what there was to do in the area, I arrived at the hotel on Christmas night and was greeted at the front desk by Nate. Nate then professionally checked me in and I went up to my room. The room was clean and up to my expectations. I decided a little while later to get a bite. I wholly expected there was nothing much open on Christmas, so I decided to ask how much the boxed dinners near the front desk were. I was pleasantly surprised when Nate told me that they were complimentary due to the kitchen being closed. Nate graciously told me about the other selections that were not out and I settled on the Ham dinner, which was appealing. I was also told the cheesecake was frozen but Nate allowed me to pick out another dessert. I then retired to my room. Later on I went to the exercise room, which had a nice assortment of weights, treadmills and ellipticals. The only negative thing I can say is that I called guest services to ask them to refill the hand sanitizer and it still wasn't done on Sunday. In the morning, I went down to breakfast. I was pleasantly greeted by Betty, Julie and the cook Tim. I was the only one in the breakfast area at the time and felt good to be getting personal attention. I was made aware of the breakfast, which was extensive for only $10 and was all you can eat. I selected the veggie omelet, which was huge, with a side order of Tim's special French Toast(which was sweet but amazing) and breakfast potatoes and coffee. Betty and Julie were gracious hosts and excellent servers and answered all my questions of what to do in the area. After some time in the exercise room, I stopped by the front desk and met Dana, who I had talked to on the phone. She wonderfully answered more of my questions about things to do in the area and I began my day. After I came back at night, I was able to get shaving cream and a razor from Nate at the front desk and then retired to my room. In the morning, I was greeted by Melody and Eden and again Tim was the cook. I ended up having the veggie omelet and breakfast potatoes again, but also added a side of pancakes(the pancakes were huge and was only able to eat one and had the other to go). The food and service by Melody and Eden was excellent. Melody is a high school teacher and we had good conversation about education. After another trip to the exercise room, I checked out. (Btw, I need to mention the house staff led by Tina. Great room service). Dana advised me of a walking trail near the area called Yankton Trail and said the mall was another option, especially due to the cold. In short, this was a wonderful stay with some awesome service and great conversation.

  Spotless, staff amazing-

  I am currently staying here this weekend. I have to respond to a review that says should have been zero- Ignore it- I dont know where he/she stayed but it does not describe this hotel-the staff is friendly, helpful and goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed- the rooms we had 2 of them were spotless- the furniture is not outdated - I travel frequently and have stayed in many hotels - completely unfair review- this isnt the Ritz - so the furniture isnt going to be the same - and they are not trying to be - no questions hands down great place
