  A pleasant stay

  Near to exhibition hall. Shuttle to the exhibition is available at CNY 10 per person which is a plus. Have a couple of restaurants nearby if you're looking for food outside of the hotel. Friendly staff and they were very helpful too. Greatly recommended!

  Comfortable

  Pictures of this hotel on their own website do it no justice at all. It appears like a converted sixties office block in a concrete jungle, most uninviting. The truth is it is a modern hotel set amongst a new build estate, overlooking a large residential area. Rooms are well appointed with all mod cons, and all floors are served by 3 modern lifts. The restaurant, situated on the third floor, is large and well laid out. Breakfast caters for all pallets and includes full English, continental and of course Chinese. Five or six fruit juices are on offer along with various coffees and flavoured as well as black teas. Although the hotel is situated a long way from Shanghai city centre, it is close to the metro, line 2, with direct access to the city without having to change line (cost 5 CNY about 65 pence). A taxi takes about 45 minutes depending on traffic and cost three times as much. Downside for English speaking guests is the limited number of staff who speak our language and trying to get those who do to understand what is required. This however can be a problem in any non English speaking country. All in all a good hotel where I would stay again.

  Absolute Oasis in the city

  Family of seven stayed here on our first visit to China. This hotel is new, modern and excellent. The staff is very accommodating to guests who speak no Chinese. Excellent blend of Asian and American breakfast items at the buffet. Next door to hotel is Starbucks, Papa Johns pizza, Chinese food, a bank. Would definitely stay here again

  Good Room

  Our group travel stayed twice one night within 4 days in this relatively new hotel. On first stay, my wife and I initially had quite annoying stay due to the smell like cigarette smoke coming from connecting door next room. But since we checked in closed to midnight and left at 5 am, we did not report it to hotel staff. We enjoyed our second stay on a clean & comfortable room. There is no shaving kit, dental kit and comb provided in the bathroom, as it is informed in Guest Bath Amenities Message on the hotel website. After having an awesome breakfast, we strolled around the hotel and passed by some retail stores, resto, and a narrow canal in front of residential area at the back of the hotel. Though we did not have any transport issue since we had a chartered bus, we do not recommend this hotel for travellers who want to stay near to the Bund and Shanghai Pudong International Airport.

  In the middle of hotel clusters, next to mall

  Convenient, Rooms are OK. A short taxi ride from Hongqiao Transportation Hub, quite a few hotels nearby, and mall. Hotel look a bit old though. For the room, size is better than those in the city. Sound proving is quite good, by chinese hotel standards, providing a nice quiet rest.
