  Booked the room for the weekend. Asked the hotel front desk if there are special cleaning measures in place due to COVID. Was told that they double clean and no guests are staying in the same room within 24 hours. Checked into the room to find crumbs in the microwave area, lighter under the bathroom sink (bright orange, hard to miss) and a crumpled spare blanket in the closet. Needless to say all of these indicate that there was no double cleaning done. Neither did the cleaning person even thoroughly wipe surfaces and floors otherwise the crumbs and lighter would not have been left behind. It was very disappointing to say the least. Other than that, the hotel only has 2 floors open currently due to COVID, the hallways smelled like cigarette smoke (not sure if they have smoking rooms there). And the walls were oh so thin. There was a family in the room next door and i could clearly hear the children speaking, baby crying stuff like that. Restaurant is still closed there. Not too many options around either which was disappointing. On the plus side though the hotel s close to the train station if you travel to Rochester by train. The lobby was spacious and updated and the hotel front desk has little food shop too which was nice in lieu of other food options.

  Staff-HEARTS of GOLD

  Amanda and Jeff were so helpful and compassionate during our stay. We were at the hotel due to a surgery at The Mayo Clinic. The room was nice and spacious. The communication, used by Jeff and Amanda, through the hotel text system, provided information about amenities and other details. This was handy and helpful, given we were at the hospital for quite awhile. We will be back in a month, and we will definitely be staying at this wonderful property.

  Short visit but flawless experience

  What a team. Kudos to recruitment and training at this property. I came with a great deal of "baggage" and they delightfully rose to the occasion from my very first point of contact farewell. Kim, front desk,Tiffany EH and MOD, Patricia, and night security (Timblin?), and breakfast server Abbey and omelet cook extraordinaire. My visit was post foot surgery.. cast and walker.. arriving 1250AM via Amtrak with 5 bags and a q2 hr train ride. They even have a wheelchair. Gracious hospitality overflowing and thoughtfulness unrelenting. Loved my room.. king, accessible.. fridge and micro.

  Wonderful, I've already booked to return!!

  This is very nice! Location is within an easy walk to countless areas of interest. Staff is friendly, caring and attentive!! On-site breakfast and dinner for purchase, as well as a nice shop at hotel desk. This was very quiet on my visit. Don't miss the brand new Mercantile on Main! It's like a food court, with cuisine inspired from around the world and a coffee stand. It's only a block away and one of my go-to places for lunch. Oh my, so much more to say but ask the staff, as they are very knowledgeable.
