Super helpful staffStayed two weekends at the Hilton Garden Inn Medford with a driving trip in the middle. Rooms were very clean and the staff at the hotel was incredibly helpful. They stored some boxes for us and worked very hard to secure a second room needed. As noted, COVID has limited some amenities but they are trying to do what they can. Hotel was quiet and common areas in very good shape. The people at the front desk were always upbeat and looking to make everyone's stay better. Rooms themselves are formula HGI. Beds fine, convenient and a good value. Only one USB outlet though. There is a great bike path out the back door - I rode 10 miles one way south and didn't reach the end. Once you get past the highway overpass, it's along a nice creek.

Standard Hilton Garden Inn--minus breakfastThis Hilton property is up to Hilton standards for the most part. I would recommend staying here. We received the exact room we had reserved on the online app the day before, which I always appreciate. Room was clean and had the paper seal on the door. Bed was comfortable, everything was in good working order. We had a quiet, restful night even though the hotel was quite busy. Plenty of free parking. Hotel is centrally located next to the freeway, but not so close as to be noisy. You have to make a few somewhat confusing turns to get into the parking lot from behind the hotel. My only complaint is breakfast. We feel like breakfast is part of what we pay for. Since Covid started, we have stayed at other Hilton properties that found a way to provide breakfast safely. So I don't understand why this property hasn't found a way to do so.

No enforcement of masks during Covid-19Horrible experience as we encountered many groups in hotel not wearing masks. Hotel was hosting families from a baseball tournament that evening and many of the 12 - 14 year old boys along with their parents were not wearing masks. When brought to the attention of the front desk, they shrugged their shoulders as if there was nothing they could do. As we were leaving to get food, we noticed them checking in a man with no mask. I got quite upset and told the desk clerk that she should not be checking in someone without a mask and that it was the law in Oregon that masks must be worn by all hotel guest in common areas. After speaking with the General Manager about our experience, he seemed frustrated and indicated they would do additional staff training. While I appreciate his response, I will never risk my health again with a stay at Hilton Garden Inn in Medford Oregon.

Great Experience!We made our reservation about 10 days prior to traveling. We knew we wanted to stay in the Medford area on our way back to Nevada and we've been sticking to Hilton properties for the past two years to take advantage of the points. We arrived about 4pm on Sunday afternoon and the hotel is conveniently located near Interstate 5. We used the contact free check-in through the Hilton app and also used the digital key with our phone. We never interacted with the front desk or Hilton, in person or on the phone. It is actually kind of odd to just walk into a hotel and walk out without communicating with anyone but I have to say we like it! Upon entering the lobby, the hotel looked well kept and inviting. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Our room was on the east side of the hotel and was very quiet - it's possible the rooms on the west side of the building may be noisier since they are closer to the interstate, but we are unsure. The bed was comfortable and the desk space area was was spacious and comfortable for doing a bit of work. The hotel amenities include a pool, exercise room, business center and a restaurant / bar, but all were closed due to Covid. We had a good nights sleep and would definitely stay here again.

NO WONDER THIS HOTEL IS NUMBER ONE IN MEDFORD...!!!Special thanks to GM Paul for treating us like Hilton Diamond VIPs on this, our 3rd stay here in the past 12 months. Its a really sparkling clean property, no doubt suitable for all the fun it could be once the virus is history. As is, you are limited to complimentary coffee in the lobby by or sooner than 5 a.m. Fitness room is closed for now, as is the Business Center but your room will be your oasis. We had the Accessible Suite with a sliding bedroom door, tub and separate shower, windows that open for a breeze, wet-bar, microwave and small refrigerator, even an extra half-bathroom with toilet and sink. The room is spacious and the staff is absolutely exceptional. There may only be 2 of these rooms here, so we were so grateful to the charming Brandy for getting us in as soon as humanly possible after a previous late- checkout. Thank you, Brandy! See you next time and there certainly will be many more for us at a hotel this great!
