  Perfecto hotel

  El hotel esta convenientemente cerca de Liberty University; desayuno bueno, habitacion limpia y confortable ; cercano de muchos restaurantes etc. Check in and out muy rapido y empleados muy amables, sonrientes en tofo tiempo. Tranquilo y familiar.

  Nice clean hotel close to lots of restaurants

  I was here recently for my son's baseball tourney. First off, I love a hotel that has a big, airy lobby. Check! Angela at the front desk couldn't have been more pleasant and accommodating. Her colleagues were as well but I mostly spoke with Angela. The hotel is nice, clean and was following COVID-19 precautions. I did see constant cleaning in the lobby area during and after breakfast. We declined to daily maid service but it was easy to get more towels, coffee pods or any other items needed for the room. I also saw plenty of hand sanitizer in the lobby, by the elevators and on each floor by the elevators. As other reviews have stated, there is a train that runs behind the hotel. The first time you hear it, it is a little concerning but I'm not really sure I noticed it again during our stay especially with the a/c running in our room. I LOVED that the Garden Inn has a laundry room which is located next to the elevators by the front desk. This was SO convenient when you have to wash uniforms! It costs $1 to wash and $1 to dry. Can't beat that. Also, please bring quarters. Credit cards aren't accepted and the front desk doesn't have change due to COVID. There are many restaurants nearby that you could walk to if you wanted and this was so convenient. The lobby restaurant/bar has some limited hours but they do a cook-to-order breakfast which is a nice option to have. There is also a big snack area to the left of the front desk - candy, chips, popcorn, drinks, fruit, etc. Another convenience in this pandemic. Liberty University was maybe 2 minutes down Ward's Rd - if that! There is also a Target and Walmart across the road. Overall, I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would definitely return again in the future. If you are someone that craves natural light in your room, ask for a room in the front of the hotel. The back of the hotel has a steep hill behind it with the tracks so it can limit the amount of natural light coming into your room. Most folks probably don't care about this but I do! :)

  Taking my daughter to college

  This hotel was great! My sister and I stayed here with my daughter. We were taking my baby girl to move into the dorm at the University of Lynchburg. The rooms were large, very clean and coffee offered with breakfast downstairs was really good. They are very careful with the COVID scare and require face masks while in the lobby and elevators, etc. The staff checking you in and out were very friendly. The room had a nice kitchen area and beds were very comfortable. Our room was also close to a train track but only heard the train once late one evening and it was actually just a soothing sound that passed quickly.

  Nice stay

  Visited for 2 nights while vising daughter at Liberty University. Unable to use the gym or indoor pool secondary to COVID so these are useless amenities at this point. The room was nice although bed not as comfortable as I expected. Great location to campus and all local shopping/restaurants.

  Mostly nice stay

  The hotel was, all in all, very clean. My only complaint was that I think it had the hardest bed of any hotel I have ever stayed in. I tossed and turned all night. The room was spotlessly clean. I paid for the breakfast when I booked the room, but it only consisted of a cold bagel, orange juice, yogurt, etc. I would pass on it, if I were you.
