  Fantastic experience!

  Henry was a trip on check-in! We had more than a few laughs. Definitely uplifting! George, while I kept butting in and answering questions he wasnt asking, was more than gracious. I apologize to George for not keeping my mouth shut!

  Poor

  Made a reservation a month in advance. Went to check in and they didn't have anything available from my reservation. Also said they didn't understand how I was able to make my reservation and get what was offered.

  Under Construction

  We've stayed here before. It's our go to address in Orange Park. With that said, it would have been nice to have been told that major facets of the hotel experience would be unavailable when we made our reservations. The parking lot has been turned into a dangerous obstacle course. There are no restrooms off of the lobby with the exception of a employees only facility. The little business office where we would print our boarding passes is gone. The nice laundry they once had is gone. The elevators are a mess and continually and annoyingly unavailable. Their single answer to all this is visit our sister property across the parking lot. Mattresses, box springs, etc. etc. etc, all sorts of stuff is coming in and out of the lobby and blocking the elevators. Inconveniencing your patrons yet charging them full price is not a behavior to be rewarded. Check in was fine even though we were late arrivals. They have maintained their restaurant and bar facilities, thankfully. The meals we had here were excellent. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping was acceptable, the room had seen better days in general. The carpet was not particularly clean but didn't stink. The A/C unit underneath the window was okay and not particularly loud and all the controls worked. Despite our room being directly adjacent to the elevators it wasn't loud or noisy at all. They use Neutrogena products in the bath which is nice, all the plumbing worked well. If I had been told when we made the reservations that we were going to encounter a property under construction my overall rating might be somewhat different.

  Great hotel

  Currently under renovation but it didnt bother us at all. Clean and welcoming front desk and lobby area. Elizabeth took great care of my crew. My room was comfortable and clean. One of the prettiest Hilton Garden Inn Ive ever stayed at.

  Smoking Charge

  Stayed at Hotel. Picked it because I was a former rewards member and it was the most expensive of the three in that area. The rooms were big and beds comfy. Staff was accommodating. I was bummed because no breakfast was included but I should have checked or asked first. After getting home today I saw a charge for $150. I called. They said it was smoking charge. I said I dont smoke maybe I smelled like smoke from being around it but I definitely dont smoke. She put me on hold for a bit and came back saying to call the GM john in the morning. The hotel is owned by a Mr Patel. This is not ok
