Another overpriced hotelWent for a weekend trip to Roseville/Sacramento Area. Called around for certain amenities wanted to use the heated pool and spa/hot tub on this trip. This hotel has a good location. Very Nice local. What a let down when the pool was not warm to swim and the hot tub unsanitary. Overpriced and needs some attention to what a real clean means! Honestly since we have been traveling, this year. Have never seen such nonsense.

AvoidWas planning on staying for 1 week but I'm leaving tomorrow. There has been no room service since I arrived. Trash, towels are piled down the hallways. Toilets backed up, shower doesn't drain, but the electric is still on. From the noises I'm hearing they're apparently housing homeless here now. All burners in the abandoned kitchen area on full blast since I arrived. Convenience store empty. Asked front desk what is going on - she said "Corporate" (purchased in January 2020) won't pay for staff.

Move on if you canWe checked in to this hotel on Oct 13th and then again on Oct. 16th. We had to check-in and out twice because we had another stay in a different hotel between those two dates. When we checked in the first time, the woman at the front desk whose name I cannot remember, was beyond nice and had great customer service which we very much appreciated. She gave us our room and we proceeded to it on the third floor only to find out the A/C unit would not come one. We informed the front desk about this and they immediately gave us another room. This room was good except the side light in the bathroom did not work, and the bed was very comfortable (we had a king-size bed). When we checked in the second time, the lady at the front desk was not the same one that we had the first time and I found her to be a little rude. We arrived at our room on the first floor this time and as we walked in, we were immediately hit with an incredibly old, stale smoke smell. It was tolerable for one night but not the way I would have liked a non-smoking hotel to smell. The cigarette burns on the furniture clearly showed that this hotel previously must have allowed smoking but there was nothing I could do about that. The remote control did not work, so we called down to the front desk and they sent this genuinely nice gentlemen from maintenance to get it. He arrived at our room, picked up the remote, and then brought it back to us with new batteries so it finally worked. Then unfortunately, I spilled some water on the entryway and the only thing I had to wipe it up was the white washcloth from the bathroom. Once I was done cleaning up the water, that washcloth was black from all the dirt on the entryway floor. It was disgustingly filthy which prompted us to immediately put our shoes back on and to not walk anywhere in the room barefooted again. Lastly, the shower curtain was not long enough from side to side so when you showered, you had to keep pulling it closed otherwise you got the bathroom floor all wet. Overall, this hotel is old, in need of some updates, needs the rooms refreshed with a really good cleaning, and to replace all the furniture that stinks like smoke or has cigarette burns. Would I recommend staying here? Only if you do not have any other choice because I do not think it is worth the price we paid.
