  Worth a second stay

  My boyfriend and I stayed here November 15th. From the first step in the door it was beautiful. The lobby is very clean, the restaurant/bar area, although closed due to covid, was very organized and clean. We checked in with a gentleman that was very courteous and explained everything that we needed to know. The room was beyond our expectations. We had the presidential suite, and it was amazing. 3 rooms of privacy, 2 full bathrooms, a kitchenette and a living room. One of the bathrooms has a 2 person jacuzzi which was very relaxing. Over all the rooms were very clean, which I attribute to the housekeeping staff. The only minor complaint I had was the wallpaper is a little outdated and there were finger prints on the window. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Erie.

  Dated but clean and friendly

  Just passing through. Clean comfortable room - bathroom actually smelled disinfected in a good way. Not that I am a fan of the Hilton Garden Inn bided egg breakfasts, but because of low occupancy they are not serving even that today. Not greatly disappointed. Clean, safe and comfortable enough. Friendly receptionist - always nice when you check in late and tired.

  Dont fall for it. They have the HILTON name..but NOT the quality

  Ill upload pictures when I can.... only if there is NOWHERE element to stay, then stay at this property! I am a Diamond Hilton Awards Level Member for reference. I stay in hotels.. a LOT....even during COVID In chronological order; I called the day before for help with check in. The person at the front desk told me they wouldnt help me until the day of check in! Check in- NO breakfast served on site! (Though the Hilton site and their webpage says there is) Good news- I WAS upgraded to a Diamond room I get to the room- electronics (TV and refrigerator) NOT working. Credit- the gentleman at the front desk offered to change my room. Credit to HIM personally for trying to fix. I get back to the room- melted cheese in the closet, used soap in the bathroom and the shower (clean? COVID cleaned even more?) Front desk for morning coffee. Three days of feeling I was asking for a favor for the overnight ladies to go get the coffee. Purple hair lady was sighing that I had bothered her and wouldnt fill my cup. 2 hours later, a very nicely dressed lady told me she couldnt fill my mug, then was sighing when I asked her to fill it or allow me to. Bottom line- Service is HORRIBLE Cleanliness- Horrible. Even more so- its COVID and youd expect a deeper cleaning. In this case, cheese in the closet and used soap in the bathroom. Breakfast not being served- blamed on COVID. From my experience where other hotels put out packaged meals..or the Hilton fuel bags hat have NO chance of COVID... LAZY and NOT focused or appreciating that people are traveling and staying here. Very disappointing stay! No care for the guest.

  AMAZING!!!

  Traveling with the Covid-19 pandemic is stressful enough however getting a clean comfortable hotel shouldnt be. Hilton makes it happen. This hotel is amazing. The hotel is in pristine condition with enhanced safety and cleaning measures. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly. The rooms were very comfortable and inviting. I want to say a personal thank you to the hotel manager for taking care of us on our stay. We are from Florida on a family vacation and we can not thank Hilton enough for their hospitality.

  Hilton on a budget

  Driving home from Kentucky to Vermont after my Mother-in-laws funeral, we stayed on the road as long as possible, pulling into Erie, PA at 10 PM. The 2nd shift manager, Carlos, heard my petition for "Senior / AAA / bereavement discount" plea, and without any argument gave me his very best rate, and directed me to the best parking on a cold, snowing blowing, dark night. Our room was safety sealed, and cleaner than you would expect from a Hilton hotel (If that's even possible). The double queen room was spacious and comfortable, and very quiet. Pro tip - try the pulse setting of the shower - great for the knots of 8 hours on the road. The breakfast was very good (Omelet, bacon AND sausage, home fries and rye toast. Chef Beth and our waitress (Also Beth) gave us exemplary, fast service. So, if you are in Erie, check with Carlos - you can get Hilton quality and service, and it might be the least expensive as well.
