  Cordialidad sorprendente

  Habitaciones muy cómodas, limpieza impecable, opciones para todos en el desayuno (no incluido en el precio generalmente). Lo que mas me llamó la atención fue la calidez del servicio por parte de todo el personal. Siempre ocupados en la comodidad y necesidades de los clientes. El frío del exterior lo compensó la calidez interior

  Great experience with only a few tiny issues

  We were on the road when we booked one night at the last minute (we weren't sure where we'd end up). When we arrived it was in the early evening and they had our reservation, it was correct, and check-in was a breeze. When we got to our room there was a seal that bridged the door and the door frame, indicating that no one had entered the room since it had been cleaned. We thought this was a nice touch that made us feel confident that things were being done properly. Sure enough, the room was extremely clean...with the exception of a half-eaten cookie on the floor inside the closet and a blob of sticky stuff on the corner of the night stand. While it wasn't the end of the world, it did sort of turn a "wow" moment into, "well, that's a bit disappointing." The only other issue was with the gal who checked us in. While she was very pleasant, she had her mask pulled down to below her chin.....which makes it useless. We had a room with two queen beds which were extremely comfortable...we both had a very good night's sleep. Bed linen was top-notch. Overall it was a great experience.

  Recommended

  My adult son and j stayed a night while traveling through. Clean and comfortable room. Good water pressure for shower. Coffee, fridge and mic in room. Fast elevator. Very nice lobby area. Easy to get to. Usable fitness room. (Pool looked questionable but we didnt use so cant really comment on that). I recommend this hotel for solo or family.

  Very nice place to stay

  We checked into the Inn after fighting horrendous truck traffic on I-80 in the midst of a driving rain storm. The Inn was quiet. We were checked in in less than a minute. My wife asked if there was a shower cap in the room. She was assured there was, but when we got to the room, there was not. I went back to the lobby and asked for one. The desk clerks couldn't find any and went toweled their storeroom to find one. Still no joy. I gave my room number, and within 5 minutes there was a knock on the door and a hostess with 3 shower caps. With an apology. She thought there were caps in the room. Good service. The room is large (2 queen beds) and comfortable. The door was sealed when we entered indicating it had been cleaned. Nothing was amiss except the shower caps and that was resolved. This Inn also had a bar, and we had drinks there before heading out to eat. A hot breakfast is served in the morning - either brought to the room, or one can eat in the lobby. Good value. Recommend it highly.

  Not Hilton's best Garden Inn

  I stay in hotels about 250 nights a year, for over 20 years, so I guess I've gotten to be picky, maybe even nit-picky about hotels. I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for work recently and maybe I caught them on a bad day/week. I didn't appreciate the desk clerk not wearing a mask during a COVID spike (December 2020). She didn't cover much of the current circumstances (dining, fitness) until I asked her. She seemed pretty tired and it was just about 6:00 PM. The room was another disappointment. The plumbing (I told you I've become picky) was wacked. The hot water handle spun 360 degrees and would only turn off at a certain point. The cold water handle was so tight, one had to struggle to get it to move. These are minor issues, I realize, but HGI has set such a high standard that I'm surprised when it seems like those running the hotel don't seem very engaged.
