Miguel DiazMuy buen Hotel, para estar de estadia en la Ciudad de Indianapolis-Indiana. En mi otro vije, entiendo estare considerando estar en este hotel nuevamente. Todos la estadia fue de muy buen gusto estar en el estado y el Hotel.

Many Covid-19 promises, undeliveredIm disappointed in the hotel for the lack of execution in making me maintain my health and well-being. They claim on their website they are doing several things to insure the safety of their guests. When I arrived at the hotel I didnt feel as if they executed well on their commitment to me. First, the front desk was noticeably different and the attendant was kind and courteous. After I left the front desk, things went downhill from there. At the elevator there is a table with a sign (see photo) indicating we should sanitize before entering. For 2 days now, there has been nothing on the table to sanitize with. Secondly, part of the guest room sanitation is to put a seal on the door after cleaning to indicate no one has entered your room after it has been cleaned and sanitized with their Lysol solution. Well, my door seal had been broken prior to my arrival. Im glad I brought my own Clorox wipes to wipe down my room. At this point, all of the promises were merely that, and Ive lost confidence that the hotel actually cares about providing me an experience that makes me feel any safer than before Covid-19. I did call the front desk and the attendant was very apologetic and offered to provide a walk thru in my room to insure everything was done. At that point, that wouldnt have provided me anything more convincing. She did indicate shed let the manager know of the events. Well, I would have expected a note upon my return or a call, but no. I received nothing of the sort. If you are looking for comfort that the hotel you choose are taking special precautions, Id look at other properties, as this one didnt provide me any sense of improved provisions to insure my wellbeing.

Horrible!!!I do not recommend at all! The lady at the check in was very RUDE. We booked with a group and were supposed to all be on the same floor. We werent and when I asked she as very rude. She first says breakfast under 12 is free then all the sudden says we had to buy breakfast after asking a few questions about the breakfast voucher. When we got to the room it stinks and the refrigerator still had someones white claws in it so it obviously wasnt cleaned out.

Great hotel very cleanDuring COVID there were plenty of signs around asking guests to wear masks. There were plenty of hand sanitizers around the hotel. There were hand sanitizers in the elevator!! Great for button touching!! The staff was abundantly helpful. I had a few needs they happily accommodated!! The room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable with decent pillows. Had dinner at the restaurant and it was tasty!

An excellent choiceI stayed at the HGI Columbus in room 532, a King bedded room with whirlpool tub, for one night while working in the area in a during COVID pandemic PROS Excellent work desk and chair with 4 outlets but no USBs VG bed with good assortment of foam and feather pillows Traditional HGI set up of Micro/fridge/Keurig/sink Large room, lots of space Whirlpool tub and separate shower Large well lit bathroom with plenty of counterspace for toiletries Minimal outside noises Restaurant and bar is open in limited capacity 43 LG TV 4 outlets bedside to power electronics but no USBs Consistent mask usage by most Upscale bath with tile and solid surface counters Night light in bathroom Lots of everything nearby, food within walking distance Indoor pool and exercise with monitored usage due to COVID CONS Paid for tub upgrade which didnt work and they adjusted my bill accordingly Phone in room doesnt work, cant hear person on other end and has ID of room 529 vs 532 Overall an excellent property, I would give it a 92/100 overall, a 90/100 for service, 85/100 for value as the cost is getting high for this area and a 85/100 for COVID policy. Despite strong postings of mask usage, some did not. I would return here in the future.
